Series recording uses two codes (crids), One is a series one the other is a prog crid.
When you schedule a series recording it schedules the earliest occurrence of any programme in the epg with that series crid, once recorded it looks for an instance of the series crid but with a different prog crid (ones with same prog crid are repeats or should be). If the broadcaster messes up the codes then you get repeated recordings of the same episode or failure to pick up the next series event.
You can display the crids in prog info on a Humax box by enabling the option in one of the secret menus
Go into Menu/System/Diagnostics press Red Green Yellow Blue Green Yellow Blue
