It was me in the scene in the smashed up hotel room with Chin, but I also found the scene where her and Danny were outside the strip club sending the fake email pretty whiffy too. . It's like she can't walk and act at the same time. She's quite good when she's stood in front of the computer screen or sat in the car with one of the guys but she's very vacant in general as an actor. Chin isn't over-emotional either, but because Daniel's such a good actor, you feel like there's so much more going on behind his eyes and I find him much more believable.

I appreciate she's there as eye candy for the guys and it's not all the time, but she acts like a singer who keeps giving the occasional flat note that makes you wince.

It didn't bother me as much this week because I was tweeting
at the same time, so I wasn't watching her.

The funny thing is I don't actually dislike her as an actor, I think there's something quite sweet and warm about her, I just want her to be a tad more believable. She's ok at the unemotional or the very emotional, it's the stuff in the middle that's a bit iffy and she definitely needs to be able to walk and talk at the same time, it's almost like she's not sure of her lines.
Sorry - I should have checked back to see who posted about her last week... I remember saying she wasn't as bad as Rachel
I agree with you, actually. I just can't work out whether her character is supposed to be a bit stilted, or it is her acting that's a bit hit and miss (I've not seen Grace Park in anything else) - as you say, though, she's likeable so it's not too much
of a problem.... I wonder if there's a bit of improvisation that goes on sometimes, and she's not comfortable with that?

I definitely get the feeling that they're on a tight schedule though - they all look slightly more tired than they did in the beginning!

I wasn't really looking forward to tonight's episode because of P.Diddy but he wasn't too bad.

Keith David was a fantastic piece of casting. He's such a commanding prescence and he's been acting for forever!

My favourite Steve/Danny scene was the one in the car when Steve put both hands on the steering wheel and Danny rushed to fasten his seat belt.Danny's "Patriot Act For Dummies" remark had me LOL! Those two crack me up

I'm going to miss the next two episodes as I'll be in sunny Greece from Thursday so I'll be taping them.I may try and watch the episodes at an internet cafe if I get withdrawal symptoms

Have a good holiday!
I haven't seen last night's ep yet - I'm also a little put off by P Diddy being in it - nothing against him, but the reason I stick with this and shows like NCIS and let others slide is because I care about the teams, and like watching them interract with each other.
When a big name like this is brought into the mix, you tend to get less team dynamics, IMO, because the star needs a fair amount of airtime, and I don't enjoy it as much.

Still, I should give it a chance before complaining!! I'll catch up with it later on.

Oh - completely OT, but relating to an earlier discussion, I've seen the first two episodes of Lost this week, and loved it! I can't believe I missed out on it!

I wasn't sure too if 'Sean' {Reggie} was going to be any good, but then, Grace Parks, isn't on the show, for her acting skills.

As it was, he turned out to be good, very good, and an opening, at the end, for him to return.

And Cara Buono from MadMen in it too, the FBI Agent.

...."which book would that be"........"...how to nuke your Enemy's"

I've just watched it. Admittedly I was ironing at the time so wasn't giving it my full attention - but it really was my least favourite episode to date - for so many reasons.

I didn't think Sean acted particularly well, so the scenes with him and Mcgarrett in the interrogation room seemed off to me - can't put my finger on it but they didn't really seem to be bouncing off each other, if that makes sense... The end scenes didn't work for me either.
So many things niggled me throughout that I'd sound like a whining idiot if I listed them all
Plus, it felt at times like an episode of CSI Miami - right down to Steve carrying the child out a la Horatio Crane -
I know I'm going to be in the minority on this one, but with such a long series I'm allowed the odd moan eh?

The conversation at the end seemed to be setting that up imo. Maybe next season.

I'm not all for that idea tbh. I don't like change while I didn't mind him as an actor (not a fan of his 'music') I don't really want them adding new members to the team, the dynamic atm is great I think it'd spoil it a bit also because of who he is he may get more screen time then Steve & Danny, that can only be a bad thing tbf.

Does anyone know if the final two episodes are a 2 parter, don't want to google it and risk spoiling it.

I'm so glad to read that someone else feels like this - I'd hate them to stretch the team past the original 4 - especially if it leaves Danny Chin and Kono looking like spare parts, like they did at the end of last night's ep
Maybe he might make the odd guest appearance - or perhaps they're bringing some new characters onto the sidelines in case a regular cast member leaves in the future, and they need to bring in someone new?

I don't know about the last two episodes - not long to go now, though

Hi I just love this show but last night I did not like P. Diddy in it he took over the programe and less time for alex and scott. I think alex got on alright with him but I had a feeling scott did not like him. And I hope P. Diddy dose not show up again in this show they do not need guest stars.
I think next weeks episode is a bit if a filler but the last 2 you can not miss they are not a 2 parter but very different I have hered

I think this is their highest rated show so they'd be mad not to show season 2.

Thanks for the info about the last 2, I was just wondering if I should wait and watch them back to back

Last night's episode "Revenge" was much better than the previous two episodes.

How has Hawaii Five-0 been doing in the UK TV ratings the past few weeks?

I'm hoping that we'll see the second season (if Sky 1 do have plans to show it) earlier than the first season.

I think Sean Combs is like Grace Park, he seems to be reading his lines, whereas with the others they just sound like they're talking to one another very naturally.

He was much better than he was in CSI: Miami though! But that's not very difficult.

I don't mind if he has a recurring guest spot every so often, but I don't want him to have a main part.

I thought it was a really good episode though. I knew it was the son the minute they walked into the house though, he looked like a sulky 8 year old who'd had his Xbox taken off him, wasn't much of a menacing stare though was it?

And me!

Not enough Danny for me- too much of the guest star!

I think that the next two are the ones to watch and I am away for the last one! Will have to watch it on-demand when I get to the states!

Will miss the last Rubicon too! How is that for bad planning

You really should check the TV schedules before booking holidays

I know- very remiss of me!

Problem is most of the other things I watch have finished or started a lot later so I assume everything is going to go off my Sky+ box at the same time!

Luckily I am going to stay with my sis so have on- demand and on-line access to the shows I will miss!

I may be there for Haven series 2 tho- or the start- will have to check!

can't do without my men in no shirts action once a week!

I'm hoping that we'll see the second season (if Sky 1 do have plans to show it) earlier than the first season.
It’s remained one of their highest rated programmes, and is often their highest rated programme of the week. In fact if you don’t count sport it’s sometimes the most watched programme on any subscription channel. With that in mind I’d say Sky1 showing season two pretty much goes without saying.

I’d also guess that we’ll see season 2 later this year, a week or so behind the US with a hiatus over December/January the same way they show NCIS:LA, but that’s just a guess.

I like JoJo (can i legally say that?!?).
And I’ve watched every episodes of Hawaii Five-0.

How did I not spot her when she guest starred!!! Clearly I don’t like her as much as I thought!

Sky are good when it comes to showing programs at US pace, only fault with that is we have to contend with the random breaks.

I think this season was started in February because they inherited the show when they took over Bravo (whom originally bought the rights), so they decided to wait until the revamp they did earlier this year.

In next week's TV listing magazines it says that this Sunday's episode is the season finale!! Somehow I don't think a plot featuring a fashion photographer is riveting enough to warrent it being the season finale

Methinks a lot of people were fooled by the fact that Hawaii 5-0 filmed 24 episodes in its first season rather than the usual 22.

BTW, who is JoJo
