Slightly disappointed with last nights episode again. Anyway one more to go and I hear its a brilliant finale.
Also a heads up Chin is on This Morning tomorrow. |

Is it me or are the product placements getting more brazen? We've had the Nokia and the Bing thing. Then the lingering shot of the Hawaiian Airlines plane touching down and now this week and the bit in the red Chevy with the hands-free and iPhone connectivity.
I know they pay the bills, but c'mon! ![]() |

Don't know if I'm just getting stupid, but I completely lost the thread of the main plot, and it was a bit of a let down when the culprit turned out to be the love struck secretary.
Danny's being poisoned was just a plot device to make a space on the team for Jenna to work on the case - her effectively saving his life means she's quickly won the team's trust, so it'll be interesting if she turns out to be a mole for Wo Fat, but it's more likely that the producers felt they needed an extra woman to join the team now and again! Chin still going through angst over his Uncle - I wonder where that will lead? It feels like we're not quite done with it. Danny and Rachel - don't know where that's going either, but it ain't going to end well for him, I'd guess! Wo Fat's after Steve - should be some drama ahead then. Hopefully the loose ends will be cleared up in the finale and we can look forward to starting season 2 with some good strong episodes. |

Quick warning to all you 5-0 fans. Don't open the US news story regarding a new recurring character for next season, it gives away a massive spoiler regarding the finale.

Thanks for the warning - I'm trying to stay clear of any news about the new season if I can.

I fell asleep last night!
But in my defence I'd had too much sun at a 20/20 cricket match! ![]() ![]() My thoughts were are they showing the series out of order over here? One minute Jenna's a semi-member (that sounds wrong, sorry) of the team, then she disappears for an episode, then she's back like she's never been away. ![]() She's staying on the island with no friends, so surely she'd be hanging around them even if she wasn't involved in a specific case. I got halfway so I'm going to have to watch it again tonight. Oh, and my other thought, they are one of the most accident-prone teams in history, especially Danno! Also, Danno's a wuss in comparison to Steve, he stays in hospital, Steve gets patched up and carries on. I presume they were filmed out of sequence though and that Scott Caan still had ruptured ligaments, so they did lots of scenes with him in a hospital while he was laid up and re-wrote the scripts later on down the line to expain hospital stays.

I thought they sped up his hospital stay, considering he was dying when he got there and then a day later he's off the antidote and being dropped back at work
![]() I think they kept him out of the way for a bit so Jenna could slot into the team easily...five would've been a crowd on this case. What gets me is, is she on indefinite leave from her real job, or what? I have to be honest; I've nothing against her, but I don't see the point in her being brought in at this stage - I mean why not spend a bit more time allowing Kono's character to develop, for example? Let her bring a bit more to the party? The info Jenna brought Steve about Wo Fat could have been got by other means, so unless there's going to be a twist relating to her, I'm a bit puzzled at the mo

But I'm guessing that it was all because of his injury and because they were on a tight time-line moneywise without a guarantee of a second series or of it being a hit, they just frantically re-wrote and shot around him as much as possible. I'm really hoping that for the second series they realise it's the banter between Steve and Danno that audiences responded to and so give them way more of their driving domestic!

Looks like I'm in the minority here but I loved last nights episode. After a couple of weaker episodes before it it was a brilliant return to form. Well, for me at least. Can't wait for next weeks finale.

Speaking of driving - what a cheeky git Steve is, racing after the villains in Danno's car while he's laid up! ![]() ![]() Oh, and I must just say - after commenting on his acting being a little off in the P Diddy episode, I thought Alex O'Loughlan was really good in some of his scenes last night - especially when he was telling the others that Danny was going to be ok - his relief, and the way his voice trembled a teeny bit was really convincing. |

Well done to the article writer. *cue sarcastic clap* I usually look at the news articles first before visiting the forum. Is the article writer from the US? Didn't they think that the UK won't get the season finale until this coming Sunday (10th July)? It hasn't completely spoiled the season finale for me, but I did want to remain completely unspoiled.I thought last night's episode "Until the End is Nigh" was quite good. A frenetic pace in the teaser and some scenes which turned things on their head. Looking forward to Sunday's season finale "Trust". |

I was quite relieved when the IA guy gave Chin back the money and said the serial numbers didn't match. I thought they were going to drag this out more and have Chin owing money to the money lender and losing his house and all sorts of badness.
Hopefully this storyline is coming to a close. The Danny Rachel thing is dull. I hope they keep in in the background. We don't need soap opera stories. They already turned Bones into a soap, I hope they don't do the same with H50. |

I stopped watching Bones because it just irritated me - either you want to be together or you don't, so sort it out and get on with the job ![]() ![]() I agree about Chin and Danny's storylines - especially Danny and Rachel - but the problem is Daniel Dae Kim and Scott Caan are good actors and their characters never seem to be given too much involvement in the crimes being solved so the writers have come up with sidelines for them instead, it seems. They'd be better off giving them a bigger part to play in taking down the villains ( I thought they paired up really well when they arrested the fisherman a few weeks back!) I'm starting to get a hunch though that all these side stories might be heading in the same direction for next season - I don't know, and I could be totally wrong, but it's starting to look like we are being shown the teams weak spots to set up whatever is going to happen next, if that makes sense? |

Hi guys I love this programe and this weeks episode was better than the last two. I dont like the Danny and Rachel getting back to gether she is going to break his heart again. Chins story line about the money was a bit lame could have made it a bit juicier.
I loved the bit where steve went to pick up Grace at school and called him uncle steve. Loved the end bit where Danny was hugging everyone. So next sunday is the last one so looks like we could have a show down betwwen steve and wo fat. The DVD is going to come out at the beginning of september and next week they start shooting season 2 |

Here is some good news for us in the UK the 2 season of Hawaii-five 0, we will get it in september the same time or just after as the USA which starts on the 19 September 2011.
Did anyone else notice that when Rachel droped Danny back at work and they hugged and kiss Danny was very happy but Rachel did not look happy at all. |

That's one of the reasons that the idea that they seem to have been having an affair for a while, according to what Danny said to Steve, doesn't really work for me - you could tell even at the beginning of the series, that he still loved her underneath all the anger, but you can't pick up any emotion from Rachel at all. |

To be honest, I think she was supposed to be looking happy, but she's not a particularly good actress.

I came home from two weeks in Greece last night and my hair is considerably lighter and my skin a nice shade of brown and that was only after two weeks. When I visited Oahu last November the same thing happened after only eight days
