Great finale to a surprisingly great series. When Steve went all Jack Bauer at the end it made me realise how much i've missed 24 this year though!

Danno: "what the hell are you doing?...And why are you dressed like a ninja?!?!?"
September in the US and also apparently the UK (it'll probably be one of Sky1's "Just Days After the US" shows considering how popular it was).

OMG! My favourite line ever! And he did, lol!

Look what I found

http://www.tvfanatic.com/quotes/shows/hawaii-five-0/

My favourites

Danno:You're lik.e a devourer of dreams. You eat them. You're like a little Pac-Man in cargo pants.

McGarret - Take that tie off. No-one on a cruise ship wears a tie.
Danno - Oh yes they do, they do all the time, so they can hang themselves when they're bored.
McGarrett - OK, put it in your pocket. You can kill yourself later.

Danno - I just had a thought
McGarrett - Don't hurt yourself

Danno - Ok, let's say I'm you and you're the bad guy here. I would know that all the ways onto the ship are visable somehow. so how would you outsmart yourself and get yourself onto the ship without yourself seeing yourself?
McGarret - OK, was that an actual question or were you just throwing words together hoping they'd make sense?

McGarrett - You don't think I'm a happy person?
Danno - I am sure you have your moments, like when Guns and Ammo put out its gift guide or a Rambo retrospective comes up on tv.

Danno - I love pancakes in the afternoon
McGarrett - I like pancakes
Danno - You do? You seem more like a napalm in the morning kind of guy.

Danno - When did you start jogging?
Kamekona - I'm in training bra
Danno - Did he just say he's wearing a training bra?

I could go on and on, I was laughing reading them, but you have to see the delivery, the words don't really mean much just on the page. Just shows what great actors Scott and Alex are!

It looks like the series will be repeated on -

Sunday 24th July 19:00 - 01:00 - Episodes 1-6
Sunday 31st July 19:00 - 01:00 - Episodes 7-12

Listings aren't available yet for the following Sundays, however I would imagine it's likely the above pattern will continue, meaning the following -

Sunday 7th August 19:00 - 01:00 - Episodes 13-18
Sunday 14th August 19:00 - 01:00 - Episodes 19-24

I watched one episode earlier on in the season. I thought it was ok but never watched Five-0 again...until last night. It was really good, looks like I might have been missing out!!! Gonna have to look out for the re-run!

If they are going to keep Jenna (which i hope they do because she is cute), they should make her an office dweller, no field action, but someone who co-ordinates and analyses (which was her job with CIA afterall), and not let her out with the other, because five is a crowd!

As for last night, really good finale, which did leave you wondering how htey will get out of it. As mentioned before though A) no GSR on Steves gloves, B) Governer fingerprints will been on phone, C) And did she really delete the messege on the phone.

Can anyone clear something up for me, which I obviously didn't grasp properly?
Jenna claimed her fiancé was part of a team that was murdered by Wo Fat whilst carrying out a raid?
I'm not clear whether he also was supposed to be CIA, and if so, why aren't they (the CIA) interested in bringing Wo Fat to justice?

Sorry if I'm being thick but I obviously drifted off a bit when she was explaining that part

They need to do a crossover with CSI - they find phones at the bottom of the ocean and still retrieve old calls

As for the GSR as someone said above there must be marks on his neck from the taser too.

Loved the finale (it had everything a season finale should have and I love cliffhangers). Love the show. Can't wait for season two and for the season one DVD. I also might have to watch the repeats too!

I had no idea I would like the show so much when it first started. I hope season two can match it.

It was obvious that the car was going to blow up, just from the way the scene was shot (how many times have we seen that in various shows). A better way would have to have kept focus on the Governor talking to her staff and heading for her own car, while, way in the background, we would see what's-her-face getting into her car and it blowing up.
Glad I'm not the only one who saw the car blowing up coming. Why else would the camera follow a relatively minor recurring character through the otherwise mundane process of walking to her car, getting in and turning the ignition key?
I could see that coming as well,as systemcv says, purely from the way the scene was shot, before she even got in the car I was thinking "BANG"!

It was pretty predictable i have to admit. I even saw the "Governer being behind it all" twist coming a mile off.

I wondered if he'd somehow made a second recording.

Good episode, spoiled (for me) only by a couple of "cliché scenes"

It was obvious that the car was going to blow up, just from the way the scene was shot (how many times have we seen that in various shows). A better way would have to have kept focus on the Governor talking to her staff and heading for her own car, while, way in the background, we would see what's-her-face getting into her car and it blowing up.

Also, it was obvious that Danno's missus was going to get pregnant and that he wasn't going to meet them at the airport.

Not sure how they will resolve that, as if he stays in Hawaii and she stays in New Jersey, it will kind of negate the whole "devoted father" image that he has had throughout the series (as he said in this episode, the only reason he moved to Hawaii was to be near his daughter).

On the other hand, if they decide to bring his family back to Hawaii, we will have to put up with lots of "romantic" scenes next series.

Wonder if this baby will look Hawaiian
Cliche scenes - you have to have some 'normality' in a show that is based on broadly reasonable reality, other-wise it goes off the deep-end and becomes barking-mad fantasy like 24 did.

Kurtzman or Orci keep the barking mad, but happy to admit it, stuff in the equally awesome Fringe.

Very much in the 'chick in the office lab' of Fringe, Warehouse 13, NCIS - to be honest much of the TV I watch

To be honest, this was only partly answered before she got whacked. The why she had Steve's dad;'s stuff, v's why she brought Steve and 5-0 into life.

Presuming Terru O'Quinn (aka John Locke or 'The CAG'), who is joining the show may perhaps become the New Governer in S2, and reinstate 5-O into operation?

I don't want this all to be resolved by the first episode then back to normal.

I want this to take awhile to free Steve etc.

I'll be really disapointed if it's over by the end of the first ep.

The phone is a massive part of getting Steve out, chin is playing silly buggers and will find the phone and use his techno power to find the deleted file, also their must be CCTV of wo fat being in the house

I found it a little odd that there was security and an alarm system in the State Governor's house, but no apparent CCTV - Steve was noticably not fully Ninja'd up with a head-mask/ski-mask.

Okay then - we'll get the lab to work super slowly on the phone for you

They will do, as in the real world, no Police Crime Lab is would be able to do this sort of specialised recovery work, though the News of the World may be able to help here .

CSi has a lot to answer for..... with it's Pseudo-Science portrayal of forensics.

Hi sorry to says this but earlier I said that Sky would be showing season 2 around september or october time, well I read on another web site that we will not be getting it untill Jan or Feb the same time we had season 1. I am hopeing it is wrong but I do not think it is. So now I am upset that we have to wait so long to see it.

I doubt we’ll have to wait until February for season 2, it’ll either be January or September/October.
They air NCIS:LA in September/October with a mid-season break over Christmas/New Year so I would GUESS that Sky One will want to do the same with Hawaii 5-0 assuming the US air dates allow them to air weekly episodes for two half seasons chunks.

Which website? If it aint a Sky website, it aint official. Sky haven't even set a date yet, so any dates you read are purely rumours based on speculation, but i strongly suspect it'll be September/October.

The only reason that they had to wait until February this year was because they inherited the rights from Bravo. There's nothing stopping them airing it ASAP with Season 2.

This is fairly long but it's fun to watch, especially when the actual blessing starts and the cast are asked to do a few things by the guy performing the ceremony
