I like Lori.I like having another woman on the show rather than Kono being on her own with all the guys. There's room for both, I think.
Not all American fans hate Lori & fans have written to Peter Lenkov in support of her.'Fans' have written to Peter Lenkov threatening him with physical violence which indicates there are some very unhinged people out there. The irrational hatred towards Lori and even Lauren German, who is a hired actress doing her job, has been pathetic and when Lenkov mentioned that the police may have to get involved because of the threats then that crossed the line of acceptable behaviour.I wouldn't call those people true fans of the show

not much Danny though, he needs a big episode soon to make up for his lack of screentime.
What the show needs now is some girl-girl action with Lori and Kono kicking and shooting their way through swathes of bad guys. Regards Mark |

You can blame Lori for the lack of screentime for danny, kono and chin she has taken it away from them, It will stay like that untill Lori gets less time.

There is plenty of room on the show for Lori. The reason Danny is so quiet is he hasn't had a story yet. Kono and Chin have had their little undercover story and hopefully that's all wrapped up now. Steve has his investigation. Lori had her introduction into the team.
So now they can give Danny a story, I only hope it's nothing to do with his ex wife as these soap opera stories drain the life out of a show. There's only so much banter you have have between Steve and Danny before it gets tedious. Most episode has their driving scene and generally they are good scenes but they can't fill a whole episode with it. I know you ladies want rid of the hot chick so there's more screen time for Steve to walk around with no shirt, but we guys deserve some eye candy too... |

Not all ladies want to get rid of the "hot chick"! Some people actually like having a new character around to shake things up and Lori is obviously still finding her way around the established relationships within 5-0.I love the banter between Steve & Danny but it can be OTT for some people and if Hawaii 5-0 does last for a number of years then how logical would it be for Danny to still be ranting about stuff? The writers have to keep their carguments fresh and relevent to the story otherwise even the most ardent fans will switch off. |

About Lori been reading what the US fans think of her they hate her and have complained in there millions to the tv studios. But they could not reduse her time untill after ep 7 then there will be more of danny and steve more carguments and bromance from then on because they had all ready filmed 6 Ep when the season started. So we just have to hang in their and thing will change back.
the show needs fresh stars or it would become stale, the banter between steve and dano is good but should be limited as it would become tiresome if it was just the two of them all the time. Lori is a good character and would be sad to see her disappear just because of some sad people |

Sorry guys for upsetting you but I do not see what you like in Lori because she has no
Chemisty with the other 4 Not believable as a cop, she can not hold her own in combat or hold a gun proberly She is not like steve at all Kono is more believable than Lori Lori is very boring after 5 ep we don't know anything about her it like watching paint dry Her face shows no emotion dispays what ever she is doing Lori is miscast for the part she stick out like a sore thumb . Taking valuable screen time away from the rest of the main characters who I want to see more of and not Lori. |

Not upset
You have your opinion, I have mine.
I like Lori. She has a nice chemistry with Danny. Is she supposed to be like Steve? She's Homeland Security not a Seal. She holds her gun just fine.Have you seen how Danny holds his gun? ![]() Kono shot a guy while suspended.Should she not under investigation for that? Joe, too? Lori hasn't had a back story. If she had then you would've found more to criticise her for instead of the writers. Joe White has had more screen time than Lori and I would rather have Lori interacting more with the team.Joe takes Steve away from the team too much. |

I'd have to agree with Lori not being able to hold her own. From what I can remember of scenes where she went up against villains, she wasn't particularly good... especially for someone who started as an FBI agent and then later moved to Homeland Security.
More back story for her would be nice, aside from just "I used to do profiling". Also like to know how/why she moved from the FBI to Homeland Security, plus... how did the acting Governor transfer someone from a Federal agency to a State police task force? It's not like it was her choice. I agree about wanting Lori to interact with the team more, instead of Joe taking Steve away from the team. The writers also seem unsure as to what she is/was. Sometimes she's been called "Officer", sometimes "Agent". If she was FBI then DHS, she'd have been an Agent, not an Officer. |

Oh, something I brought up in the US pace thread:
The format seems to have changed compared to season 1. The actual Five-0 role seems to have changed. In season 1, the team was some sort of "Major Case Unit"/"Major Crime Unit" type State Police Task Force, handling BIG CASES, special cases, etc... the sort of cases that local PD such as HPD wouldn't/couldn't handle. Now, in season 2, the team seems to handle all sorts. Not just the big stuff, but also cases which seem straight-up murders which surely HPD or the other relevant local PDs should actually handle. They don't get given major cases by the Governor anymore, instead it's just "body is discovered, someone calls Five-0". |

Joe is ok with him we found more about steves background from when he was younger and about his dad. Plus Joe is not in every Episode.
I think the actural format for the five-0 role has changed because of the new Gov wanting them to go by the rules of the law. What has happened with Lori reporting back to the gov and standing up to steve and keeping an eye on what the team is doing from Ep 2 when the Gov put her there. Plus the team just excepted her and trusted her from the get go. with out know anything about her. No argumants, no keeping her out of anything. She is not doing that instead she dose what ever steve tells her to do even if is is legal or not. |

Playing by the rules has nothing to do with the format change - it has no relation to the type of cases the Five-0 team deals with, which has changed.
Plus... Steve often still doesn't play by the rules. |

It may be me, but I can't recall a single scene where Lori and Kono have spoken to each other. This seems a bit weird to me.

That Ep was so Bad the worst this season but had some interesting points.
The Good Loved the 3 min that Kensi was on she had intstant chemistry with steve, his whole face lit up just loved that. The shellborne Angle do you think it is a peroson, place, or code The fight between Wo Fat and Joe was good. Wo Fat looked worried and angery when Joe asked him about shellborne. Love Wo Fat he is just a great bad guy Joe is sounding very shady could turn bad putting all the quilt on to steve Alex looking very hot and sexy what a good body he has. The Not So Good Felt no love between the team tonight What is happening with Danny so quiet not doing much. Him and steve were together but not together if you see what I mean Kono is back but doing nothing Barbie Doll taking all her screen time Stiil no chemistry betwwen the fab 4 and Barbie Doll The Very Bad The very beginning Danny should have been trying to stop steve from fighting it would have been so much better and funnier as he is his friend and Partner Not Barbie Doll trying to impress her boss by telling lies about how good she was with MMA/JUJITSU so not believable she would have fainted as soon as she steped in the ring. I think she has a crush on steve I just hope they don't go there. Barbie Doll her voice was flat as a pancake bad acting very boring and to much of her looked like she had taken over the lead in this ep what has happened to steve. Ok if I remember any more I will let you know |

Really enjoyed last night's episode.I thought the team worked well together to get all the facts to nail the true murderer.
I thought Kensi was a bit wasted in the time she had on screen. The loco moko advertisement was a bit OTT--it looks as disgusting as it sounds, believe me! Danny & Steve's banter was great, especially when Danny was trying to talk Steve out of fighting ![]() Steve & Lori had a nice moment together when she wrapped his fist & I liked the whole team interaction together in the locker room after the fight. Danny intercepting the son of the murder victim as he arrived home from school was very touching.Danny's paternal instinct kicked in and he was just the rock the traumatised boy needed.Danny's an excellent father! |

Why would an "elite" task force be first responders to a homicide? What next - jaywalking! Book 'em Danno - he crossed the road at the wrong place.

I didn't think it was that bad. Generally though, any screen time that Lori and Steve get is screen time that Danno and Steve could be getting.

Never watched NCIS, so had no idea who Kensi was....but I did recognise the guy from Southland, Shawn Hatosy.
