Awww!
The bromance in this episode was so sweet
![]() Danny went with Steve to the hospital even though he was obsessed with meeting Peyton Manning at the Pro-Bowl.That was really touching. Cath was amused with Steve & Danny's "man-date". I liked her reaction when Kamekona was mentioned, too ![]() The case tonight was fairly complicated and, again, everybody worked together well. Great to see Larry Manetti from 'Magnum P.I' guest star as "The Kid".He's a fast runner for a man his age, though 'Nicky' probably knew a short cut to get to the bouncer before Steve & Danny

It was so obvious they'd end up missing the game!
Some good scenes with Steve and Danny this week - loved the "Dungeons and Dragons for Sports fans" line - but I thought the case was messy and uninteresting; it was just a back drop to the whole pro-bowl thing.Danny was like Steve and Cath's kid in the end scene when they took him onto the pitch ![]() Btw - is he still supposed to be dating the woman from the museum? There was a big deal last season about her meeting Grace, and then she was never seen again! |

The actress who played her got a job in another series so that's why she's been absent.I think she'll be back, though.

What bothered me about the case is the fact that when they suspected the blackmailer guy, he was measured at 6ft5 and that fitted the calculation taken from the camera footage.
Yet that doesn't seem to be explained when the actual perp is revealed to be a guy who looks of average height, probably no more than 6ft. On the plus side, as an NFL fan, I loved the sports references, the bit where Danno starts to interrogate Arian Foster about a dropped catch that cost him a fantasy win was unreal. |

My mum had a dislocated shoulder recently. It was OK for a couple of days and then hurt like hell when the bruising started to come out. The shoulder was very weak for a couple of months, so the throwing of the football wasn't realistic. It would have been better if he'd fumbled the throw and Danny had made wisecrack.

Fun episode last night
Loved all the bromance between Steve and Danny that was fun The scene where cath was telling Steve she had tickets fot the game and Danny could not hid his excitment about going with steve When Danny went to the hospital with steve it was funny when he saw kono and cath together at the game with better seats. I would love to see them team up together. The empty stadium with steve throwing the football to danny was funny and danny was very quick. Larry Manetti can not sing. |

Same here!
and while I like Summer Glau, I'm somewhat worried as her appearance in shows does seem to signal the end ... Firefly, the 4400, Dollhouse, TSCC, Alphas... I hope lightning doesn't strike again ... Another decent episode very much highlighting that it's a buddy cop show first and a criminal investigative programme second. Quote:

Although at the end he did hold his shoulder and say he needed to see a doctor - again.Danny was like a terrier running down the pitch. Quote:

Another good episode after a slow start it got better
Cath did well in the Roller Derby I wonder whe Steve had his badge around his neck. I loved the scene where the team was trying to talk Cath into going undercover in the roller derby. It was quite funny and all of them had great chemistry together. Danny knowing all about the roller derby from his mother who was a fan. So the secret is out and someone has stolen the microfilm the fight was good be tween Doris and the burglar. When Cath told Steve about Doris and he told her to leave I felt sad for both of them, and then for the rest of the episode you could see Steve working out that he could trust Cath and he loved her but he could not trust Dorise at all. I really liked the confrontation between Dorise and Steve he asked all the right questions. The make up scene at the end their eyes and expressions said more than words could've. I am glad they are back together. Steve looks so handsome and sexy all in black The bad Was Bounty Hunter at the beginner which had nothing to do with the case at all. |

Another decent episode. I think because Dog the Bounty Hunter is based on Hawaii they thought they'd give him a cameo, like they have for actors from the original series.
Didn't know they was such a sport as Roller Derby, only America would come up with it! ![]() Another great part was where Cath came in and said she'd placed second, the Steve asks her what the first place woman's name was. The mischievous look on Steve's face said it all. You could really see the height difference between Scott and Alex in this episode. Plus another couple of fragments to the Doris story. One she was being followed and two she's still got a foot in with the agency. I hope we get some answers soon. I'm also wondering what's going to happen with the Kono/Adam thing. Remember his brother putting Kono's gun back in its holster, what was that about? |

I still can't bring myself to care about what's going on with Doris
![]() I'm much more interested in what's going to happen with Kono and Adam and his Brother, so I hope that story gets moving again soon. I thought overall this episode was better than I thought it would be when I read the episode description though, even if there was a bit too much Doris!

They might save this story line untill maybe the last 4 episodes and could be one of the cliff hangers at the end of the season. I am intersested as well what is going to happen. |

Roller Derby has been around for years in the US.Scott's father James starred in a film way back in 1975 called Rollerball. It was very violent.Cath's reluctance to join the roller derby was very funny and I really enjoyed the banter between the whole group. They always look like they get along really well off set

How far behind are the sky episodes then? I'm watching at US pace and the episode last week was dreadful. So tacky. I hope it isn't a sign of things to come.
