If anyone can look hot while limping with a cane it's Scott Caan

Danno & McGarrett seemed less combative and more agreeable in last night's episode though I'm sure that won't last Their evolving partnership is the best thing about the show and the banter between them doesn't feels forced. It also doesn't hurt that they're also very easy on the eye

I'm intrigued by what Mary found so interesting in her Dad's old tool box but I have a feeling whatever she was photographing will lead to trouble in the future..

I've noticed that two of the guest actressess have also starred in Supernatural: Michelle Borth in Season's 2's 'What is & What Should Never be' & Maite Schwartz in Season 4's 'Sex & Violence'.Colin Ford, who also plays young Sam Winchester, was in the episode 'Ohana'.

I've heard that the 1st season DVD will be out in May so that's something I'll definitely be pre-ordering

Love this show. One of the best things on TV right now. Its biggest strength is in its characters and they seem to know it too.

Been offline since thursday but watched this on sunday and loved it.

The exchange about Ms. Pacman cracked me up ..

"Have you got to double pretzel level?"
"Triple Banana bitch!"

Genius

I loved their simultaneous "Ohhh!!" when the sex traffiker dropped the date-rape drug into the girl's drink

McGarrett & Danno are very watchable and Chin & Kono add to the great eam dynamic.I'm hooked

A MUCH better episode this week, even with the hero, and you do feel, the Sister is trouble.
Great to see Wood Harris too....and a good guy, sort of.

Should all Police Forces use Naval Intelligence to help them....the lovely Catherine does help a lot.

And Danno's Stick; is that for real...or just a Prop.

Cathy: Oh God!........Mary: Yeah! You said that a lot last night.

Scott Caan actually did injure his ACL doing a stunt in one of the earlier episodes. Rather than delay filming until it got better, they wrote into the script that Danno had injured his ACL and carried on regardless.

Two out of five episodes using naval intelligence satellites is a bit of an easy way to resolve stories and takes away any realism. I hope they drop this. Spooks never overdid this and was all the better for it.

Well out of the shows I watch in a week Hawaii Five-0 is at the bottom of the list in terms of them being really good. After a good pilot and a much better second episode ("Ohana"), the next three episodes have been lacklustre. Scott Caan has been the standout in the main cast so far.

It was an ok episode tonight, but then I hope that doesn't become a pattern. McGarrett and Danno have such good chemistry, you can see the episodes where they don't have the bulk of the screen time being weaker.

Still, early days though - still only episode 5

I was really shocked to see tent camps when I stayed in Makaha last November but I guess even paradise hasn't escaped the world's economic problems.

Lat night's episode was okay, it wasn't the most thrilling of episodes, but I do love the growing partnership between Steve & Danno

I did too, infact as soon as the guy appeared i just thought "this guy blatantly did it". Maybe i've just watched CSI for too long. Still an enjoyable episode though.

Yes, but it is Hawaii, it's hardly a refugee camp pitched up on Canvey Island

Some great episodes coming up. A few season/series arcs will be set up and you'll learn more about the characters.

Well of course, well-known actor guest starring must automatically be the bad guy - that really annoys me about US dramas it takes all the suspense out of the show

The tent cities I saw didn't look anything like the ones in the latest episode they looked more like the shacks you see in Rio, Brazil. They looked that bad. There were chickens & dogs running around everywhere and I saw a dead pig thrown on the ground with a mongoose feeding on it! The tents were often not tents but just huts cobbled together from scraps of metal & wood.Very sad.

Sounds like something Omar Baba from Come Fly With Me's FlyLo Package holidays company would be selling

Good episode last night.....didn't guest who did it,.. but knew it wasn't the Seal Guy.
But did McGarrett have to jump in the water to get on the Ship......I would have Parachuted in.....from 30,000ft.

Great to see Robert Loggia too, boy, he's been in a lot of stuff...and 81 now.<yikes>

Grace as ever....stunning.

She has an amazing body but very weird cheeks/jaw, she looks like she's auditioning to play Marlon Brando in the Godfather, she has serious hamster cheeks/jaw.

But a good episode for the girls, McGarrett in less clothing!

"Who are you talking to, your wife?" That line from Robert Loggia cracked me up

Nice to see McGarret put his SEAL training to good use and I laughed at Danno fretting back at the HQ

Johnny Depp Look-a-Like....well I thought it looked like him.

I think they deliberately don’t have many shots of the two leads standing together because of the height difference; it seriously looks like there’s a foot between them. I think they make good use of camera angles to hide the difference too, one standing closer to the camera etc. But Scott’s father was always quite short so I guess that’s where he gets it from!

But I’m glad height didn’t stop them casting these two, they are great together.
