The 'treatment' was an injection of some kind - I got the impression that this wasn't perhaps legal and hence why it was done 'behind the scenes' as opposed to trackside.

Technology has advanced to such a degree where amazing things can be achieved--and that includes in communications.I don't see any problem with H50 showing the latest gadgets and tools and if Microsoft is at the forefront of those advances then.....so what

Exactly. This is what I meant in my previous post.

Enjoyed the homage to Magnum PI at the end.

Enjoyable episode

I'm waiting for the product placement police to be all over this though

The arguments are getting boring.

The Magnum P.I nod at the end was great.

I'm with Danny, though, on Kamekona flying a helicopter.I don't think I'd get in a chopper with a pilot that inexperienced, or that overweight, either

I guess I'm just more aware (doing a marketing module with the OU so perhaps that's why). Talking generally there's 4-5minute ad breaks plus all the product placement on a show, everything is becoming a billboard including ourselves - which I DO understand from a commercial and marketing point, they've got to get their brands and product out there. Sometimes it just seems a bit over the top.

Having said my 2p's worth I'll surrender on the point

... and Microsoft are paying them, as a show sponsor.

I don;t think I have seen and iPhone, iPad or a Samsung Galaxy devices (allowed) in the world that is H5O, and the loosely related NCIS:LA. Making it a parallel reality.

Steve would just have taken over, him being a helicopter pilot n'll.

Ok Episode

Liked the opening scene with Steve and Kamekona with the Flight simulation and Caths entrance was funny
Kono rescueing the rest of the team by dropping the cargo container on the bad guys.
Steve saying Book em Kono because she earned it, and Danny saying where's the Love
More Chin and Kono
The beautiful shots of the Island when they were in the helicopter
The end in the helicopter with the Magnum singalong

Doing a bit of a catch up on H5-0 recently. Any reason why episode 18 is not on Sky Go?

It's a bit erratic, as is Sky Anytime+. - all content sources from BBC iPlayer, to Sky channels, can be woeful/missing/very late.

Loved the part when Steve and Danny and Max were in the plane and Danny said I don't fancy the idea of him flying over the town where my daughter Grace lives and then (sorry can't remember the name of the pilot) took his eyes off the controls and Steve nearly had a stroke.

Great ending with the Magnum PI theme being played

Loved the start when Steve and the new so called pilot were using the simulated flying game. I think this guy is so funny but too obese.

What happened to Kono's boyfriend. The last I saw of him she was reading his messages unknownst to him.

Have we found out anything else about Steve's mum Doris.
She always looks very suspicious to me and what about Wo Fat or have I missed something

Great end to a very poor episode, which had a promising start with the Husband catching the Wife....but then the case unfolded into a mess.....with the only highlight being Kono's play with the Container.

Plus Catherine in the Bikini....can't forget Catherine.

Don't think anything's been missed with the Doris & Wo Fat element. The writers seem to taking their time with that storyline. Same with Kono & Adam.

Kamekona's Island Tours, anyone want to take one??

Can not wait to see this sundays episode found this artical on the internet from Spoiler TV

WHEN McGARRETT AND CATHERINE CROSS INTO NORTH KOREA TO RETRIEVE THE REMAINS OF A FALLEN FRIEND, HE RECOUNTS HIS LAST DEADLY MISSION THERE.

The Episode Serves as a Prequel to the Series’ Pilot

Jimmy Buffett Returns as Frank Bama and Terry O’Quinn Returns as Joe White

“Olelo Pa’a” – When McGarrett and Catherine cross into North Korea to retrieve the remains of a fallen friend, he recounts his last deadly mission there. The episode serves as a prequel to the series’ pilot. Jimmy Buffett returns as Frank Bama and Terry O’Quinn returns as Joe White.

(*Olelo Pa’a is Hawaiian for “The Promise”)

CHEAT TWEET: #H50 fans, flashback 2 McG’s deadly mission that started the series! @OQuinnTerry @JimmyBuffett RETURN!

So we are going to get some flashbacks from when Steve was training to be a seal with his best friend Freddie

I don't like the "Rambo-esque" type episodes - I felt there were too many of them last season and for me the show also loses something when the Five-O aren't working and interacting with each other; I thought this episode suffered for the lack of Danny, Chin and Kono (bet it's the easiest day's work those three have ever had, though)
So, not a favourite episode for me

You know these things are all filmed "out of sequence" don't you? They'll probably have filmed those little bits in the middle of a whole load of other scenes set in the HQ

Didn't like this episode. If I didn't know it was Hawaii 5 O, it could have been a war film. Missed the team, especially Danny and Chin.
