5 seasons would be a pretty decent run though, considering some of the shows that have been binned. I still rate it better than NCIS - but then I rate everything better than that at the moment

What, even a head and shoulders above show like Person of Interest ?

Yep, love Person of Interest. At least the characters evolve and remain engaging. I've got the last 9 episodes of NCIS recorded and no pressing desire to watch them. I might get round to it once I've caught up on 6 episodes of Hannibal, 4 of Continuum and the entire 3rd Season of Game of Thrones
cant comment on other NCIS series as dont watch them but 5-0 is certainly much better than the programme with LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell, have only seen it a few times but was enough to realise that it wasnt very good

It has grown over the run of the show, esp. the Hetty Character but is worse than NCIS, which is worse than grandaddy JAG.
Does anyone know when the season 3 dvd is coming out in the UK? amazon has had it on a notify me for ages, and the NCIS los angeles season 4 boxset has a release date and picture.

No....
Most definitely the other way round.
H5O has really gone downhill, I spend a lot of time spooling or stopping watching H5O episodes.

I've found myself really going off the show over these last few episodes of the season it's only my love of Steve & Danny that makes me keep watching it which is a shame as I used to love the show

As I am faaaaar to young to remember, do any of the current stories themes etc bare any resemblance to the original series??”
My thoughts exactly. It was all a little chekhovs gun having him pop up.

In the USA season 3 will be out on 24th September 2013 so over here it will be that date or after.
Can not wait to get it with all the extras on it as I have loved season 3 reminds me of season 1

Good news. Wonder if Sky will return to their previous 'days after the States', make us wait again for weeks....
.. Strikeback is already past Season 4, Episode 2 on Cinemax in the US.......... bit disappointing, as Sky are joint producers on the show - it does not even have a UK air-date yet...

If you don't want any mid-season break, you're talking the middle of January. Going to be a long hard slog. Christmas/New Year, mandates a break, even for Sky.

it was - i think the last couple have started then. i'm quite happy to wait until then. as you say, it means we get the whole series from start to finish that way.
