Sky + box, and series link effects the same outcome, without sky holding back H5O, Grey's, Strikeback, Bones, Criminal Minds etc for the |new year - for the rest who would be quite happy to watch it.

Sky used to make a thing of "days after the US". Guess they have ditched that, despite the recent price hike.
Sky clearly prefer to show the whole run in one go rather than the constant stop start that they would have to do with the "days after the US".

.. and as for the other part in the spoiler I think its fair to say it may be true as the actors character has been relegated to playing fourth fiddle behind the other three and I don't blame them for looking for change if it be the case.

![]() "but I want to watch it uninterrupted, and think my opinion that Sky running 4 months behind the US is correct, and the only opinion that matters" - Use your Sky + box, is my stock answer, and we would not have had 2-3 weeks of Sky One scraping the barrel for wall-2-wall January repeats, until show's start to pick up and air. |

You could already have seen it 3 1/2 months ago, if Sky were running to US pace. The show only had a 3 week break over XMAS, and has already picked back up @ Episode 12 Friday (10th Jan) just gone.

Under your logic, all those viewers who would stack the episodes on Sky+ wouldn’t be counted, so the programmes performance in the ratings would drop as a result, Sky would make less money from it, and the chance of it getting dropped would increase. Sky attempted the ‘days after the US’ approach (complete with scheduling gaps) with a number of programmes a few years back, and ratings suffered as a result. They also tried it again with Glee a couple of years a go, and got the same poor results. It might be your preferred option but evidence shows its not most peoples. Anyway, I’m glad its back. And starting in January means we’ll get it uninterrupted and by the end of the season will only be about 4 weeks behind the US. If Sky were holding it back until later in the year I might join your protest, but I think the current scheduling model is perfectly acceptable. |

But in terms of ratings, which Sky use to sell advertising, you have to watch the programme ‘live’ or within 7 days via a DVR (depending on the ratings system you’re using) to count.

If Sky were holding it back until later in the year I might join your protest, but I think the current scheduling model is perfectly acceptable. With the ratings rules, as above, they can't even remotely be right for advertising rates. With the exception of time sensitive stuff, you'd have thought getting the info back from the sample groups on when someone does indeed watch the show, and revise the figures would have been the best/worst method. At least you have some certainty with Sky +/YouView etc, that someone has positively watched the programme, and the channel is not just 'on' - like Click-Ad's on web pages. |

But i do agree that all current ratings systems are far from accurate. |

Was it this or ncis LA that was gonna be shown on Saturdays? I remember reading about the change of schedule which some weren't happy about. Would have prefered it myself.

Maybe I'm over thinking this but Wo Fat has been arrested how many times in this series and yet they don't seem to have his DNA on file....I think McGarrett just likes to smack people around sometimes

It's not on again until Feb 5th. (They're re-running S3 at the mo but it over-laps with S4.) It was last shown back in October. You think they'd schedule S3 to finish before S4 though
