But I’m glad height didn’t stop them casting these two, they are great together
I agree.Scott Caan has a great personality and he's such a prescence in Hawaii 5-0 that I couldn't imagine anyone else playing Danno

I think they deliberately don’t have many shots of the two leads standing together because of the height difference
And My Grace Park....she's 5'9"....

I can't get used to seeing only one Grace Park on screen.

I just can't warm to Kono.
She just seems like a token woman character.

Loved last night's episode. There's definitely a bromance going on with Steve & Danno , I didn't trust Nick Taylor either and Steve got to show his Bada$$ SEAL side in the battle at the end

Love this show. It's now Sky One's top rated weekly show too as well, overtaking House and the Simpsons, so it looks like it's been a big hit on both sides of the pond.

I was wondering how Hawaii Five-0 has been doing in the ratings over here. The ratings news for satellite TV in the UK dosen't seem to be as detailed on Digital Spy's website, compared to ratings news for the terrestrial channels.

Last night's episode was the best episode since "Ohana" (episode 2).

Is there a reason Hawaii 5-0 on SKY isn't in the Cult section? It's definitely my cult show TV show at the moment.

Because it's technically a drama series and has high viewing figures? Cult is normally only the home for low rated or sci-fi & fantasy shows

Oay, so why are Glee & Desperate Housewives in Cult? Neither show is sci-fi or fantasy & their ratings are healthy

Actually Scott Caan was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in a TV series
I'm just staggered to learn that

The series is quite entertaining but Scott Caan's "performance" ruins it for me. He swaggers around like a chimp in a nappy full of porridge with his chin permanently thrust upwards. I know he's a shortarse but this over-compensation is ridiculous.

HIs "acting " seems to consist exclusively of flailing hand gestures lifted straight from his father's equally over-the-top performance in The Godfather - has he bitten his own clenched fist yet?

This could have been so much better

I love Scott's portrayal of Danny Williams! He's abrupt, he swaggers, he melts when acting with his young 'daughter',he's funny and he can be a tough guy, too.I wouldn't change a thing

I think Scott deserved his Golden Globe nomination

Great action packed episode on Sunday {watched last night}
Banter between Steve & Danno very good, New Jersey Postcard...

I was wondering where I had seen the ex CIA 'mechanic'...Emmanuelle Vaugier {she was in a couple of episodes of Human Target}, she had a great exit in this episode.

Kono can tackle/tickle me any time...

Because only cults like Glee? Yes, it was a typo!

It got 890,000 viewers in the latest figures available. Not bad for multi channel.

Not bad, i'd go as far as to say brilliant.

It’s actually the highest rated programme of the week on a pay TV channel (if you don’t count sport).

It’s safe to say Sky1 will be very happy with these ratings, not only their highest rated show but the highest rated programme on pay TV, not bad considering they didn’t actually buy the programme but just inherited the rights from Bravo when they bought the channel off Virgin.

Has also been in CSI:NY and one of the "Need For Speed" video-game titles; NFS:Carbon, I think.

Rachel, Danny's ex-wife finally appeared in last night's episode and I liked her.She definitely still had feelings for Danny and he for her and I liked their interaction and snarkiness. Her "Bite me" was pretty funny

The final few minutes where the team caught the triatheletes/jewel thieves was very well done, especially Steve's SEAL smackdown on the beach. Also, I'm not a huge fan of too many tatoos but Alex O'Loughlin does wear them well

Rachel not so Evil {interesting back story with her and Danno}...I too like her....and she's an Aussie.

Was the only reason they dumped the Van and the Money in the Dock, so that Kono could get her Kit Off, if so....more please.

I want an Infrared camera.

And rounding up the Baddies at the end...seemed to easy for me.

Actually, her English accent was really pretty forced and obviously fake. My first reaction when I heard her was "she's not English"

Alex O'Laughlin, however, does a very convincing American accent (hands up all those who didn't know he's Australian!)

I thought her upper crust English accent was very believable. My cousin lives in Marlow and sounds like that even though she's originally from Wolverhampton in the Midlands
