Was wondering why they are still keeping Grace Park away from the rest of the cast so long. Is she pregnant ? So they could film her scenes independently in one block before her bump would be noticeable.

Otherwise seems pointless keeping her in the show and they might as well drop her as they seem to have lined up Michelle Borth for all the scenes she would have played in the main show.
Unfortunately it does mean that Daniel Dae Kim's part has also been cut back.

Yes Grace park was pregnant at the end of season 3, and they filmed some scenes at the end of season 3 for the beginning of season 4. Grace has had a baby boy in September and she will be back with the team half way through the season she has not left the show Cath is just filling in for her. Cath is NOT taking Kono job.

I didn't watch this at first, but was laid up for a few week's and sky had been showing it from the beginning, really enjoyed it well, up to episode 4 and for some reason they have stopped the repeats

That's a shame - season 1 was really good.
I'm beginning to find it unwatchable now though, to be honest.

odd I had it on series link and once it got to eppisode 4 it stopped linking, I've done a search it but only lists series 4 which is the current series, we have those in the planner as my daughter has watched it from the begging.

I was surprised Cath wasn't wearing her uniform actually. I know she left the Navy but so did Steve, didn't he? Seemed a bit odd?

I'm surprised Kono just let those two men take her boyfriend without trying to stop them. There were only two of them armed with hand guns and I thought she was armed too? You'd think she'd at least try to get the jump on them!

Steve is still in the navy as reserves so he wears a uniform. Cath has left the navy so she dose not wear a uniform.

Just read that she went back to work in Vancouver (aka Hing Kong/China?). So assume that she will be back on the island when the baby and her are ready to fly over.

Tonights was certainly weird

They always do a Halloween special, and normally off track episodes.

I tend to watch these a week behind being they are on sunday nights, but I saw last weeks this weekend and I was surprised they killed off the guy Steve's girlfriend was working with. Ithough tthat'd be a plot point all season.

Personally I tend to like the main plot in most episodes, when they have a crime to solve, its the ongoing ones, Steve's mother (I've really hated this one), Kono's troubles etc.. that I generally dont care for.

Give me a good crime tht they'll solve and some in car bantering and I'm good.

A fun Halloween themed episode a bit weird but good, had to watch a couple of times to under stand it.

Loved all the banter between Steve and Danny this week.

The Bad
Too much of Max I find him very boring and not funny

I can imagine that Danny was embarrassed about admitting he had claustrophobia and didn't want people to think he couldn't do his job.I don't suffer from that phobia but I went snorkeling once and just could not put a mask over my face.That's the only time I've ever felt that panicked so I assume that Danny has avoided getting himself near small spaces during his career.I have a feeling that claustrophobia might come up again in the future

The case was convoluted but not unusually so for a Hallowe'en episode.I don't mind Max but sometimes I have trouble understanding his dialogue--a bit like Steve, Danny & Chin whenever they have to go to the ME's office.

The chase at the end was enjoyable for me because I've been on that road The bunker where Brock was being held is usually filled with props from Jurassic Park, LOST and other films/TV shows.It was used in the first series, too.It's a great drive.

I'm really enjoying Season 4 so far

The crime of the week was good and interesting this week

Wow Steve has a great body standing their with just a towel round him
Loved Cath kicking some major yakuza butt was a good fight scene. I am glad Cath got all the information she needed. So the team can find Adam and get Kono home and back with the team.
Loved Baby Joan was so cute and adorable
Loved the baby with Steve, Danny and Chin so funny and good
Danny's story about the handsome prince and the stallion was so funny and the baby was listening.
Dary Hannah flirting with Danno with the baby very funny.
Captain Grover is back. I like Steve and Grover they have good chemistry together. What I did not like was when Grover was trying to buy Chin breakfast. Glad Chin turned him down and is very loyal to Steve.
Loved more Chin this week. I love when Steve and Chin team up and work together.
I love that Caththerine is now part of the team and can not wait for Kone to come back so they can team up together and kick some ass.

I thought it was funny how both Alex O'Loughlin & Daniel Dae Kim have children but Scott Caan doesn't--- yet Scott looks more comfortable around kids

The opening fight scene with Cath was amazing but she should have been black & blue and hobbling along afterwards

I'm glad Cath is in 5-0 now.She's doing all the hard work/ass kicking for Kono.Nice to see a show with two strong women.

I like Grover despite his words to Chin about Steve.He's tough and someone I'd want on my side if I needed help.

Overall another very enjoyable episode.

An interesting episode tonight, I thought. It's interesting that Grover is also single father of a daughter like Danno.

Not keen on this series as much. hardly any kono or danny.

Grover also has a son he mentioned it to Steve when they went to pick up Ian the computer hacker for the parking tickets

Kono will be back with the team soon in a about 4 weeks the actress Grace has had a baby boy.

I like less Danny this season Scott probably wanted the week of for some time in LA

It was spooky at the end that Ian was spying on Steve through the ATM at the end. Looks like Ian will be back to cause more trouble for Steve.
Loved seeing Cath on the team and Chin all way love seeing him.

Is Grover, being brought in to replace Danny? As the characters are similar. I only really watch because of the banter between Steve and Danny. I used to love this show, but this season has been disappointing.
