Is Danno's hair indestructible? It's never messed up once, despite being buried under rubble.

How come 5-0 never gets into trouble for beating suspects, never reading them their rights and conducting interviews without legal representation?

They have immunity so no repercussions for their actions

Great episode loved all of it

I like Amber and her relationship with Danny good chemistry. I love how Amber keep calling Danny Jersey. Loved the scene where Amber meets Grace in the kitchen quite funny. I hope we get more of Amber in season 5
Love all Chin and Kono scene. Chin being Bad ass
Loved seeing Cath having more to do in this episode. Showing the relationship is still strong with Steve.
Loved all the scene with Steve and Danny. We now know why Danny complains so much.
Loved all the hugs at the end. Steve gave Cath a nice big long one.

So it was Wo Fat's Mother in the Grave in Cambodia not his dad. I wonder when we will get to see Wo Fat's farther, probably one of the story line that is going to be in season 5 wonder who they will get to play him.

I couldn't believe how stupid it was!! Danny was buried under a mound of concrete, his leg was pinned, he was impaled, in the side, by a rusty object, yet ,20 minutes later he walks away!!

Danny's leg wasn't broken, just bruised. If you watched closely the piece of rebar wasn't that long so there wasn't excessive bleeding and Steve, used to field medicine, was there to take care of him and limit the damage. Also, adrenaline was probably keeping Danny on his feet so that he wouldn't scare Grace or Amber.I bet that once Danny got to hospital he felt all those injuries!

Yes, the whole injury thing was ridiculous.

Firstly, you shouldn't lift anything off a crush injury after 15 mins, you didn't see him check the time, and also you should never remove an item which penetrates a wound as there may be internal bleeding.

But tv shows never get the medical stuff right.

Maybe I just wasn't paying attention but I was more confused by Steve making the bomb thing then what looked like seconds later the ones up top saw the reaction but they came up on a couple of harnesses??

That would make for entertaining viewing wouldnt it?

If I want to be bored by endless medical jargon I'll watch a documentary not a 42 minute drama

The time-line wasn't clear but that will have been "some time later" I assume.

I have noticed in the last few months that Danny is not appearing as much and the new guy seems to be having a bit of a bromance with Steve. I just wounded if anyone knew why Danny seems to be appearing less and in small bursts. It used to be very much about the pair of them, their relationship as much as anything. Just curious.

Did enjoy tonight's episode however it felt like a recruiting tool for the US army

I have to agree. Well, not that it was a recruitment add, but that it was a little self-serving, trumpet-blowing thing. Half expected the US National Anthem (Stars and Stripes? Not sure!) to play at the end of McGarret's little speech

Scott dose not like being in Hawaii for 8 months filming. He wants to be in LA where is family and friends are. Scott gets bored just doing one project at one time. Looks like they are giving him more time off to keep him happy and do other projects. He has just started filming a new film called Rock The Kasbah a comedy. So it looks like they have got this new character played by Chi McBride for Captain Grover to stand in when Scott is away filming other thing.

A very good episode loved it going to be in my top five ep this season

Loved Sasha Pieterse who played Dawn she really looked the part of a home grown terrorist looking cold and evil.

Loved Alex in this episode excellent acting by him. Loved all the scenes with Steve and Dawn in the blue room. Loved Steve's speech. Unfortunatly Dawn was too much brainwashed to take any notice of what Steve was saying.
Loved the fish story thorough out the episode starting with Chin and Grover and ending with a fish off between McGarrett and Grover which I hope we get to see.
The soldier in rehab was a real soldier when Steve and Danny went to San Diego to see him. Played by real life Iraq War Veteran and Triple Amputee Bryan Andersan.

No idea on the timing delays between us and the US screening but it was Memorial Day last weekend so it might have been done to coincide with that.

This episode was shown in the USA at the end of April 2014 so nothing to do with Memorial Day.

I loved Steve's patriotic speech.Alex O'Loughlin delivered it with real menace.I didn't see it as self-serving just a message that needs to be made by every civilised person, not just military personnel, who value liberty and frredom.Terrorism will not win.

I was glad to see that Hawaii 5-0 didn't shy away from doing an episode dealing with this aspect of terrorism.Kudos to everyone.

Home grown terrorism is not just a US problem---a few years ago, and not 5 minutes from my front door, a group of young muslims were caught & convicted of planning a terrorist attack. We all have to be vigilant.

The speech was okay. I did chuckle at the bit when he talked about leaders "not hiding in caves" and facing the battle from the front. Surely he can't really believe THAT? All our leaders hide in their metaphorical caves while the soldiers go off and die. That's one thing all sides have in common.

I know they can do a lot with green-screen, etc., but I did assume this was the case so thanks for confirming it.

Danno's hair style is to raise his apparent height, as he is only titchy.

Scott Andrew Caan is only 5'4" tall

Alex O'Loughlin is 6'2" tall

And, this week, I spotted a covered up bald spot under Danno's hair..

I did like the fact that Dawn remained committed to being a terrorist and wasn't converted back to being an "All-American Girl" by Steve's speech (as would have happened in many other US Shows.
