Good episode

First the crime of the week was quite good lots of action this week
So Valentine had a change of heart loved his story. So instead of killing he saved them
Loved all the stunts and action this week. When Steve was running in the middle of the road and then had to jump on the police car.
Loved Grover he seemed always gets the good one liners
I loved how the team took out the 6 bad guys at the end
The only time Jerry was funny was when he announced that he was in the market for a new basement and everyone refused to look at him.
Danny's Story
Danny only found 13.5 million wonder what Matt spent the other 5.5 million on.
So Chin comes to the rescue and goes to his brother in law for the money
So Matt is dead in a barrel and Danny shoots Marco Dead. The look on Steve face said it all. I wonder what happens now with the money, will Chin get into trouble, will this come back and bit Danny in the back side and Steve he was witness to all this.

I wasn't expecting that so soon after the episode started.
Fantastic stunt when Steve jumped on to the bonnet of the car.
I LOL when everyone tried not to look at Jerry when he asked about a spare basement. The H50 cast can do funny as well as serious.
Danny's heartbroken expression at the end was hard to watch. As soon as the barrel was brought out he knew. Scott Caan portrayed Danny's anguish and anger perfectly.
Reyes deserved to die but there should be repercussions for everyone concerned.

Another great episode. Loved the ending but yes, I'm sure there'll be consequences.

I wonder if they took back the money? (Well, $5.5m at least to give it back.)

I really liked the ending too. I honestly didn’t think Danny was going to kill him.
These types of shows normally end with the ‘hero’ being ‘the better person’ and not resorting to the bad guys level, so I was fully expecting a ‘book ‘em Danno’ moment. But I’m really glad Danny put a bullet in his head, which is what most people would have done given the circumstances.

Another good episode good story

Alex was fantastic with his emotions this week. Loved Steve in a suite loved the scene at the grave of his dad. Talking about aunt Deb and his sister Mary and baby Joan. Steve is still missing his dad badly.
We have more Chin this week. I like it when Steve and Chin work together
I like Ellie Clayton had good chemistry with Steve. plus if she stays around she will be able to help Steve and the team in Court.
Loved seeing William Sadler who plays Steve dad.
Loved all the flash back scene's with Chin and Steve dad. Six year old Steve and his dad
Ellie makes Steve feel closer to his dad.
Loved the ending with Steve and Ellie looked like they might get together.

Looks like Jerry is being kidnapped lets hope they keep him for the rest of the season.

I'm loving this season so far, a nice sunday evening treat! The sun and surf sure helps forget the winter evenings
Steve still missing his dad
Loved seeing more of Chin both in the flashbacks with Steve's dad and the present, need more Chin please
Ellie and Steve look like a good match, family history and work ties to bring them together
Looking forward to next week's episode and what happens to Jerry!

For a Halloween episode it was good

The opening scene with Steve finding Danny and there little talk was nice to see
So we have two crimes going on at the same time
I will start with the Halloween story first

We have Chin, Kono and Grover working together. It was quite a good story for Halloween
a few twists a long the way. Grover had some good lines and we got to see more Chin and Kono this week. When the third victim was attack that made me jump.
Then we have Jerry's story that Steve and Danny ended up working. witch had a few twists as well.
Ellie back as well I wonder if Steve was trying to impress her by going to see her as a lawyer to help with the case. They are doing favours for each other already like with Cath.
I thought it was funny when Steve, Danny and Ellie were at five 0 and Jerry walked in.
The fishing scene with Ellie at the end she is no push over.
Taking about Cath I think the writers should tell us what is happening with her and Steve before he has another girlfriend.
Lets hope after this episode we get less Jerry as that was the end of his story.

What an extraordinary episode

Alex O'Loughlin was amazing. He conveyed Steve's confusion, pain, betrayal and fear incredibly well. The scene at the end where he asked Danny where his father was had me fighting back tears.

Danny in the drug induced hallucination was hysterical.Hawaiian shirt, happily married, loving life on Oahu, disregarding ethics and rules---I loved it.I also loved Scott's smile

So Doris brought up Wo Fat as a 'son' through guilt.I wasn't too surprised that Doris would do something like that.I'm glad Steve got to kill Wo Fat.

Sang Min's scenes were a breath of fresh air

Brilliant episode and the Ohana scenes at the end were beautiful

OMO A FANTASTIC EPISODE I JUST LOVED IT THE BEST EPISODE SO FAR THIS SEASON.

Please some one give Alex award for tonight episode.

Alex was fantastic great acting. The torture scene were hard to watch, because Alex and Mark made them look so real. The water torture.
Alex all drugged up in the white room
The fight scene with Alex and Wo Fat was fantastic.
The end when the team came and Steve asked Danny where his father was I had tears in my eyes. Great song at the end.

Loved what Steve dreamed for his team he wanted everyone to be happy
Kono 4 times world champion surfer no damaged knee
Chin Captain Kelly at HPD not kicked out.
Danny still happy married, in a Hawaiian shirt, please call me Danno everyone dose. Was so funny.
Loved all the scene with Steve and his father
Jenna at the hospital
Kamekona with a head tattoo and mustache in prison was funny
Sang Min just love him
So Wo Fat is dead now I am glad Steve shot him. I will miss him on the show. I wonder if Wo Fat father will come after Steve now

Thanks. So just doing a few calculations (based on the scheduled US broadcast dates), Sky will have caught up with the US by early December. So, to allow a continuous runs of episodes, Sky will have to take it off air from mid-December and return it early March.
How can we catch up with the US before Christmas when we will be 4 episodes behind them. The US will only have one break for thank giving before Christmas. Then they have a 4 week break over Christmas. I bet we will be back before March maybe middle of Feb. As the US then show episodes all through Jan and Feb.
Not true. Looking at the scheduled US air dates, the first 7 epsiodes run consecutively, then a 1 week break between epsiodes 7 and 8, and thats before Thanksgiving. So there will then be at least another 1 week break for Thanksgiving at the end of November. I still say that by Christmas we'll be roughly at US pace. And as the US will take more breaks between episodes from Jan to May, I think Sky won't bring it back until early March.
We will get five 0 episodes from 19th Oct up until Dec 28 which will be ep 5.11. which in the USA will be shown before Christmas. The most breaks come between March and April. We will see who is right with the dates when it happens.
I hate to say i told you so but...

Sky have almost caught up with the US broadcasts, so the last episode on Sky before they are forced to take a mid season break will be Sunday 14th December, so only two more to go.
Then I suspect it’ll be back in late February/early March.

I think Sky 1 will have Five 0 back before or at the end of January or how about if Sky 1 shows Five 0 2 days after the USA which is Friday and we are on Sunday. Plus there will be more episodes after Christmas 16 episodes left to see instead of 13 this season. I don't think we will have to wait until late February for it to return. So we will just have to wait and see what Sky 1 dose.

Well I was right last time, do you want to try double or nothing?

Seriously though, I’d be surprised if we see it return on Sky One before February at the earliest. You’re right in saying this season has more episodes than usual, but as you’ve also said in previous posts, the second half of the season traditionally has more ‘breaks’ in it than the first when you’re talking about US airdates. So because of that I can’t see Sky trying to air episodes just 2 days after the US – my prediction this time is that it’ll be back around late February but we’ll almost be at US pace again by the time the season ends in May.

This Sunday it is episode 5.08 and we have caught up with the USA. We should have another episode 5.09 which is the Christmas episode this one is showing in the US on the 12th December so we might get this on Sunday 21st December.

So Sky could show 5.09 (the Christmas episode, due to air in the US on 12th Dec) on Sunday 14th Dec - therefore no need to take a break. I wonder why they aren't planning to do this?

It was a good episode

The crime of the week was good had lost of twists that kept you guessing. Love all the action and stunts with Steve jumping over all these lorries. and jumping through the window.
Love how all the team was involved with the case of the week.
Grover was good this week with some good lines.
Loved the banter between Steve, Danny and Grover at Steve house waiting to go to the wedding and Scotts socks.

Loved Carol Burnett as Aunt Deb she is great. Her Fiance Leonard Cassano played by Frankie Valli made a good couple. Love the beginning when Steve meet them.
The Box that Leonard gave Steve I wonder what evidence was in it. I think this Box will be back in another episode giving Steve some trouble I think.

THE BAD
I am very, very disappointed with how they ended Cath Story. Catherine would rather stay in Afghanistan and teach than come back to Hawaii to be with Steve . This is making Cath the bad guy saying she dose not love Steve when for two season they were in love. This is just rubbish, I would rather Cath was killed at the end of season 4.
