Kono is clearly still very much alive and it’s been quite a long 10 minutes since then!

That's not a lack of continuity I dont think, you are to assume adam agreed and the Gabriel storyline is put on the shelf until later in the series.

The Grover stuff however is ridiculous

Well, I would have much preferred to have been told in the next episode whatever it was Gabriel wanted - not have to wait weeks to find out.

Loved this weeks episode it was good

Loved the crime story it was good story
Joe Egender who played Neil Palea who had Autism was very good
loved all the scene's with Steve and Neil

So Abby is a spy to bring down Five 0
Chin's fight with Gabriel was good but he should of died when he fell out of the window onto the car. Story not over yet

Who ever got Melanie Griffith to play Danny's mother Clare should be shot that was terrible at the beginning of the episode.

Have to say that I am not enjoying this season as much as others.
Continuity is a key issue and seems to have been lost at times!

Not in the slightest. We haven't see the whole season yet.

Don't get this continuity argument, it's like those mentioning it havent seen 5-0 before as this is exactly what they have done for the past 6 seasons

Shall we say that was kind of fun episode

So may character's in this episode they all must of had a lot of fun in this episode
I always love having Sang Min back and Odell Martin
Ziggy Marley is the son of Bob Marley playing Bones was good except I could not understand a word he said. Grovor and Bones in the car with the accent was funny
The mock court was hilarious
Loved Steve and Chin saving the people in the container in the water
Odell started slow in court but got more confident and won the day when sang min eyes was the answer

I thought it started off a bit too silly but it improved a lot in the second half.

Right now, it irritates me whenever I see Grover walking around like nothing happened. I keep thinking he's an awful person who ought to be locked up

Hopefully I will get over it at some point

I’d love to know what Alex O’Loughlin and Scott Cann’s contracts are for this show... we frequently get episodes where only one of them is present. I know it’s an ensemble cast, but Steve and Danny are the main characters and it’s become a rarity to have them both together for an episode! There aren’t many programmes where the main characters are absent so often.

Saying Grover is an ‘awful person’ is a bit strong isn’t it? I agree I’d like to see what he did addressed in some way, but he used unconventional methods to bring to justice a man who was a corrupt cop who murdered his wife. Isn’t using unconventional methods to bring to justice ‘bad people’ the general idea of what the Five-0 taskforce do?

He trashed a man's home on a hunch and terrified/traumatized an innocent woman in the process. There are laws against that stuff for a reason!

I also strongly doubt that the money is even admissible as evidence given the way it was discovered.

Personally, I don't have any sympathy for him.

Scott Caan changed his contract after season 4. Scott dose 5 LESS episodes than Alex because his girlfriend lives in LA with their baby girl who is about 2 now. He goes home to see them plus all other projects he has going. As well as that he works on Five 0 for 2 weeks then has a week of or a very long weekends. That is why Scott sometime have a story line without the other team members or he is not in the episode. So it is all Scott fault and no one else's fault when he is not in a episode. I don't know why his girlfriend dose not come to visit Scott while he is working maybe Scott planed it this way to get him home to LA and do other projects. So really Scott is just part time now on Five 0.

But the Five-0 task force don’t play by the rules – as they often say, ‘we’re not the police, we’re Five-0!’ For me Grover's actions were just one step further than how they'd normally get things done.
I suspect in reality a lot of their convictions would actually be admissible given the way they are achieved. But like I say, they’re Five-0, so it’s all ok.

Interesting. Both Scott and Alex are absent occasionally, but yes, it’s Scott most of the time so that makes sense.
I wonder if he had known the programme would last 7 years whether he and his girlfriend would have relocated to Hawaii, like Alex and his family (although I know he’d originally relocated from Australia). Of course hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Scott would never relocate to Hawaii he loves LA where is dad and family and friends live he dose not like living in Hawaii that why he has so much time off. Alex who loves Hawaii he said it reminds him of Australia met his wife Malia who lived in Hawaii and he brought a house as well. When the show ends will stay in Hawaii. Scott fans should be lucky that he has a contract for 7 season or he would of gone by now.

Alex might love Hawaii, but once the programme ends if he wants another TV role he'll probably need to move to LA. But having spent some time in Hawaii myself I can see why he loves it. Having said that, I also enjoyed my time in LA too.

As for Scott, I'm not sure he would have left the programme by now if he could, it's a good regular pay cheque. But I have no doubt that living in LA and working in Hawaii must be difficult at times, and he's very luck to have the arrangement he does.

Next season will be the programmes 7th, and as that's when all the lead cast's contracts expire I suspect that'll be it's natural conclusion as I can't see CBS willing to re-negotiate. It's a solid performer for Friday nights, but they aren't going to go out of their way to get an 8th season.

Loved the episode last night it was 100% better than the one before it.

Loved the crime of the week about a Russian Spy which led into Catherine's story line that she was in Kiev on some secret mission.
Loved all the team working on the case.
When Steve found out that Cath could be in trouble we got our super Seal back and he got the job done with finding the spy. I think Steve still loves Cath I hope we get more story lines later on in the season. Now we have season 7 we might have to wait until then when Cath comes home we will just have to wait and see
Loved all the action and gun fights poor Camaro getting shot up
Loved the scene where Steve is looking out to sea thinking about Cath and Danny going up to him asking if he was ok.
Abby a bit disappointed the direction with this storyline kind of boring. Will Abby tell Chin everything.

I'm currently watching season 5 and the amount of times Danno is missing is criminal. An episode with no Danno is just boring, he is by far the best character on the show.
I can't speak for season 6 yet as have not started it, but far too much Grover and Jerry and season 5 and not enough of the original 4, with Max for back up.

I’m sorry to say it’s exactly the same in season 6. It’s just a shame we get so many episodes where either Steve or Danno (usually Danno) are missing, or they aren’t in the same scenes together (because they were filmed on different schedules).
By contrast, in NCIS:LA you hardly ever get an episode where LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell aren’t together.

yeah I have found it really disappointing as the moments with Danny and Steve are what has made the show for me.

Danno and Steve make the show, though i'm not opposed to others having storylines. I just found the amount of time Danno was missing in season 5 was terrible it was literally every other episode at one point, and even the ones he was in he didn't feature heavily.
I'd take a Steve-less episode over a Danny-less episode because as singular characters Danno is much better.

Personally I never liked the Danny and Steve realtionship. They just whine and bitch at each other constantly. I find Danny's diatribes, in particular, really annoying. Don't miss him at all

Hear, hear! Couldn't agree more. How on earth they can work in partnership with all that bickering going on all the time I don't know. It's just not realistic and it gets very boring.

I used to like Steve and Danny together the first 3 seasons they were great but from season 4 onwards when Danny started being nasty, calling Steve names and butting Steve family down I went off him. I think the show is much better when Scott is not in the show or on the team. I love Steve the best and when he pairs up with Chin, Kono and Grovor they all show Steve respect. What I don't like in season 5 and 6 is Jerry he is just a waste of space and not funny at all. Scott is the only one to blame for not being in the show all the time he wants the time off. So they can only film with the actors that are there to film.

The other thing that is wrong with season 6 is that the main arc story line is between two recurring characters Gabriel and Adam and it is getting boring. There is no focus on the main characters Steve, Danny and Kono who is only involved because she is married to Adam who you see more of than Kono. I am not that interested in the recurring characters I watch the show mainly for Alex/Steve and the team they have had less focus on them this season. Less action and gun fights as well. Chin is the only one with 2 storylines this season Gabriel and Abby.

Its weird how people say Danno is rude to Steve but because i think its often the other way round. They bicker though but they love each other really.
