Fantastic episode tonight and Chin got to show his Bada$$ side for a change.Steve's counselling to Danny over his possible beating the crap out of Stan was funny, especially when Steve pointed out that Danny has "a tone"

Scott Caan definitely reminded me of his father when he grabbed the housing commissioner and threatened to kill him if his child was ever put in danger again ---way to go Scott

Another Great Episode, on Sunday.

But I was expecting Chin to give his bullet proof jacket to Julie, the witness.

Danno's side story, was very good to.

The Cleaner...

And Steve going all Rambo....was hilarious.

“You might want to chew on that”

It was a really great episode! Anytime Danny gets to go psycho is good!

I couldn't work out why Chin took his vest off either if he wasn't giving it to the witness, but maybe she wouldn't have been able to hold on to him properly on the bike if he was wearing it.

Steve still looked amazingly hot covered in all that gunk!

I really like the team dynamics now and they all get equalish time on the show to develop their characters, I'm liking Chin more and more - the quiet, dignified, honourable one.

Bit of a No-Brainer really...

Would have been mad not to renew it.

Purely a guess but maybe he hung the bullet proof jacket on the bike to stop the bikes petrol tank getting shot at so they could use it to escape? Of maybe so that the girl could use the bike/jacket as a kind of shield to hide behind. Just a couple of guesses.

It’s been a safe bet for a while now but CBS have today officially 100% confirmed that Hawaii 5 O is coming back for a second season.

Tonight's Pirate was the most predictable of all in the series, thus far.

Since I get all my facts from TV, and form my opinions upon what writers and actors do: I won't be going on holiday to Hawaii. Too much crime.

I still enjoyed the episode. The opening scene with Steve & Danny pushing the car up the hill was great, especially the shot of Diamond Head, which was stuuning---as was Scott Caan with an open shirt and no tie

yeah, this is light & fluffly crime plots, but good nonetheless.

I would certainly not want to be anyone remotley related or friends with the 5.0 crew - they all get caught up somehow...

season finale was exciting. Excitment till the end. I find it amazing that the locations where they shoot are real actual locations. i was watching an episode where there was some ssort of car chase and surprised realizing it was taking place on downtown streets.

My question is: who is that blonde short haired haole women who has been in the past few episodes? Is she a new cast member??

also, when did Kawika become a good guy???

Careful there my friend, we have not had the season finale yet, don't want any accidental spoilers!

Yes. In the UK, according to IMDB, we are on episode 17 of 24.

No spoilers please!!

Worth it just for that alone- there was stunning scenic background!!

My sis has just arrived from the States on hols and kept saying how good the last ep is- she is gagged currently so as not to spoil it for me!!

No Scott Caan on a Sunday- what will we do??

I prefer Alex O'Loughlin with his shirt off and we haven't had that for ages!

I really enjoyed this episode because there seemed to be loads more banter in this episode, maybe because there was not much plot.

The trouble with this episode for me is that sometimes if you choose someone fairly well known, the audience will know it's him under the balaclava, I knew that was Nick Lachey straight away. I know it was semi-obvious but there wasn't even any is he, isn't he for me.

I agree, I think its a nice antidote to all these realistic gritty crime dramas that take themselves way to seriously.

Plus its got a stunning backdrop.

True. I figured they wouldn't have Nick Lachey in for just a couple of lines, he had to reappear at some point.

Still enjoyable though.

I know! The opening shot with Diamond Head was incredible for me because, 5yrs ago, I climbed that thing and it was worth it for the view of Waikiki from the top, though the seemingly thousands of yellow steps on the way to the top was something I could've done without!

BTW, I loved the scene where Alex O'Loughlin chased the kidnapper and threw himself onto the orange bus. That was really well done as was the ending when the 5-0 team watched the reunion between the rescued kids & their parents.Love this show---even a somewhat below par episode is still really enjoyable

ohhh. Im so sorry. I thought you all were discussing the finale. I know now that there are two threads on H50, one must be UK pace the other US but aren't labeled so.. , and I must have confused the two because I swore there was talk of the finale.

I don't like it when something gets spoiled, so my apologies. (at least I didn't give away anything.. car chase reference was random)

Other than this one having the words "Sky One" in the title, you mean?
