The Albert is pointless!! Why didn't they just rename the r&r the Albert and keep the salon!? Unless they have plans for the r&r as well?? There must be a reason they've kept it!

No it isn't pointless. It looks good to me and it finally gives Sharon a purpose IMO. R&R is rubbish because it's a small nightclub. I don't think we will see the inside of R&R again:

Because they wanted a bar, not a manky nightclub. Also they wanted rid of the salon to give Dean a barber's.
I agree about the boxing club! Ronnie owns the gym/boxing club but we never see her in there. I don't think Ronnie suits being a boxing club/gym owner. She is much better off in the R&R.
