What a fantastic piece of television!

Edge-of-your-seat drama, hints of comedy, live CGI, live birth, live death, live wedding... So ambitious yet absolutely spot on!

Cracking performances from all to be fair. Jane Danson, Sally Dyvenor, Alison King, Chris Gasgoyne and Julia Haworth in particular. Shame about old Billy Roache though, and the absense of Dierdre, Emily and Betty in particular didn't feel right. They coukd have been used somewhere, it wouldn't have been a bad thing!

Such a cliffhanger ending too.

One of my favourite soap episodes ever.

It really is amazing... it's a shame that it was overshadowed by the crash itself when this deserved just as much, if not more, recognition.

I did that the other day and was even more impressed as I was concentrating sheerly on the acting and not waiting for the drama like last time.

Must admit, I thought it was excellent with some excellent acting by the aforementioned. I also agree that it didn't feel right having a 50th anniversary live episode without Deirdre or Emily present, the latter especially bearing in mind length of service (and health in comparison with Betty Driver, who is less mobile - but still fab).

I loved the tram crash/live episode week. Brilliant acting by most and really high, and well deserved ratings. The live episode was so smooth, despite the live CGI, the birth, wedding etc...

Stand out performers in the live episode had to be Jane Danson, Julia Hayworth, Chris Gascoyne and Alison King

When does it come out, I can't wait to get it
