I'm talking about tracks such as,
Song of Freedom
Vale
Vale Decem
The Daleks
Evolution of the Daleks,
The Dark Endless Dalek Night

Now I know there are vocals in these but is there any meaning to them? Anyone know if there are lyrics to them?

Just wondered.

The Daleks contains male vocalists singing "Oh, mah koreh?" (הו, מה קורה), which is Hebrew for "Oh, what is happening?".

Vale Decem lyrics Latin-English

Vale Decem - (Farewell Ten)
Ad Aeternam - (On To Eternity)
Di Melioria - (The Fates Be With You)
Ad Aeternam - (On To Eternity)
Vale Decem - (Farewell Ten)
Di Melioria - (The Fates Be With You)
Beati - (Oh, Blessed He)
Pacifici - (Who Brought Us Peace)
Vale Decem - (Farewell Ten)
Alis Grave - (Lay Down Your Burden)
Ad Perpetuam - (We Will Remember You)
Memoriam - (For Evermore)
Vale Decem - (Farewell Ten)
Gratis Tibi Ago - (We Give You Thanks)
Ad Aeternam - (On To Eternity)
Numquam Singularis - (You Are Not Alone)
Numquam - (Never)
Dum Spiro Fido - (Trust To The Last)
Vale (x10) - Farewell

Song of Captivity and Freedom lyrics Latin-English

Cum tacent clament.

Cum tacent clament.

Serva ne,

Servan tuter.

Sevan servan tuter.

{interlude}

Dum inter homines sumus colamus humanitatem.

Cum tacent clament.

Dum inter homines sumus colamus humanitatem.

Cum tacent clament.

With silence, we shout.

With silence, we shout.

Without salvation,

He provides our salvation.

He provides us our salvation!

As long as we are among humans, let us be humane.

With silence, we shout.

As long as we are among humans, let us be humane.

With silence, we shout.

Evolution of the Daleks

This song features Hebrew lyrics, containing the line that roughly translates as 'What is happening Sec' (there is no word for Dalek in Hebrew but I assume that the Sec is a reference to Dalek Sec. I'm afraid I can't find further lyrics for this one. 'Korah' alone translates as 'The Happening', which is chanted in the track. It could represent the evolution of the Daleks.

I'm afraid I can't find lyrics for Vale or Song of Freedom, although the word 'Vale' means 'Farewell' in Latin, and they say that a lot in the former.

Thank you,

Thanks for that. I just kept listening to it but it all sounded like nice vocals but always bugged me what they meant. Now I've got a fair idea

Strangely enough, it doesn't.

Is that the definite lyrics and translation? Because I have come across another one a while back....

Vale Decem
Honore res quara
Emerio
Alter altera
Vale Decem
Emerio
Alter...
Alteri.. te..
Vale Decem
Vale Stragem
Valde Temptua
De glorio
Vale de Temptua
Vale Decet
Honora res quara
Alter cerna
Armis
Grata tunc, usquera, emani
Vale...

Farewell, Ten,
Because of your honour
It's well deserved
This other one
Farewell, Ten,
It's well deserved
This other one
This other one of you
Farewell, Ten,
Farewell, Carnage,
Intense Trials
Concerning pride
Farewell to these trials
In a very proper way
Because of your honour
This seperation
Is by force of arms
Flow out all the way with joy
Farewell...

actually...ignore me...it seems that with a bit more research you are indeed correct...although the translation it self may not be correct, but is more guess work.....
