Waldeck - Defenceless (came on random play on vevo channel...wow..its like a throwback to massive attack ...tried to find it on intunes to buy it but found out that its not new but was released in 1999???)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzu022uKuvQ&ob=av2n

Florence & The Machine - Seven Devils (wow this is epic...loved the last album but this album is a step further into the something genuinely marvellous)

Lana Del Rey - National Anthem (nearly picked Carmen or Radio but this track just cries anthem and breakthrough track in US)

Etta James - Stormy Weather (sublime vocal sublime heartfelt jazz her voice is like a brass instrument rip. )

Robyn - Stars 4 Ever (seriously underrated artist...this kind of reminds me of Kylie Love at First Sight...catchy melodic edgy pop at its best...would love to see her live)

The Horrors - Still Life (rock doesnt have to be formulaic....very enjoyable - 80s rock remerges)

Katy Perry - Hummingbird Heartbeat (listening to the album again and I still dont understand the last song release choice...why wasnt this released as a song? Much better than the one that got away...love circle the drain even more...but due to the swearing I knew that it wouldnt be released)

The Shins - Simple Song (looking forward to the album)

Sharon Van Etten - Leonard (one of my favourites on another good album from SVE)

That MIA track, I've loved her since Arula but this song is one of her weakest singles!

When I first heard it it reminded me of "Run The World" by Beyonce (which I hate) but it's grown on me since!

Nooo it's not as bad as that track!

I like Bad Girls has that MIA sound but it's a tad too safe for me, she's had much better stuff before!
