If that is anything like the actual schedule, then it will be a big improvement on last year.

Saturday and Sunday in particular look stronger. I wish they'd drop The One Show for holidays like this but I know they won't.

Thanks for that. Dean Andrews said 6.1m so I'm wondering if the figure included ITV+1 or not.

Apparently so, according to Broadcast:

Marchlands 5.89m (24.33%) (inc HD)
+ 201,000 (1.11%) - ITV1+1.

Thursday 3rd March

BBC1
20:00 Human Planet - 4.3m (17.5%)
21:00 Famous, Rich and in the Slums - 3.63m (15%)

BBC2
21:00 The Spice Trail - 2.25m (9.3%) [+ HD 85K (0.3%)]

ITV1
21:00 Marchlands - 5.89m (24.33%) [+1 201,000 (1.11%)]

C4
21:00 Love Thy Neighbour - 1.15m (4.7%) [+1 159,300 (0.9%)]

C5
21:00 FILM: Pistol Whipped - 1.19m (5.7%)

BBC3
21:00 Working Girls - 457,300 (1.9%)

Sky 1
21:00 Mad Dogs - 938,383 (3.9%)

From Broadcast & Attentional screenwatch blog.

and the following from C4 Sales [inc +1]:

C4
Simpsons - 2.0m
Hollyoaks - 1.26m
Relocation, Relocation - 2.16m
Love Thy Neighbour - 1.31m
10 O'Clock Live - 0.77m

E4
Glory Daze - 0.52m
* 341,200 (1.4%) without +1
Skins - 0.56m

Marchlands finishes on a high note and Mad Dogs on Sky 1 has done very well to hold that high audience throughout its run. Last night's Skins was its lowest ever C4 inc +1 figure so will probably be another series low - not looking good.

Can't see any other ratings about at the moment so probably best if RZT, DMN or someone else does a full update later

C4 have comissioned a fourth series of Hollyoaks Later, which should put an end to the latest axe rumours.

That is less than the episode last week. So yes, another all time low rating for the show. It is getting ridiculous now.

An interesting stat about Marchlands. It was ITV's best rated drama series in the Thursday 9pm slot since 2005 (Doc Martin).

Oh dear!

Does not bode well for the Desert Trek documentary getting the stellar ratings some are expecting of it.

If I was a betting man, I'd expect something similar (4m?) for it, depending on how big a turkey (or not) Murphy's Surgery (aka Monroe) proves to be...

Marchlands ended on a solid note. It's pretty much held it's audience for it's entire run (something you don't often see). Anyone know the series average? I wonder how Monroe will fair in that slot next week.

Emmerdale as solid as ever. EE and Corrie look abit low, but I think the Corrie rating will be for the whole slot as it ran 20.31-20.58 last night.

As for Skins - what a total disaster. I watched the first episode of the series and thought it was bloody awful. Looks like the cast change this time round hasn't done the show any favours at all.

Yeah, I think I'll have to revise my prediction for the Desert Trek. I thought yesterday's documentary would get a million more or so. IIRC, the first series got ~5m, last year's fell to about ~4m but I thought there would be renewed interest in it especially as it was tagged with the Comic Relief brand. Difficult competition, mind you, with Marchlands doing really well. Great rating for Mad Dogs too which improved from its last 2 episode figures. Skins' ratings keep dropping every episode - I thought by now the declines would've ended! Also a noteable drop for 10 O'Clock Live which had stabilised the past few weeks at the 750-800k mark.

Well, it depends, doesn't it, the Desert Trek might be more popular because there are current celebrities and it's been plugged non-stop on Radio 1 and been in the papers. This was more an extended version of the films we get on the night with Celebrities X, Y and Z going to Africa. And I dunno if anyone considered "Famous, Rich and..." a brand that they'd watch regardless, it depends what the subject is, watching Larry Lamb being homeless for a week is more of a novelty than Lenny Henry's umpteenth trip to Africa.

So Mad Dogs is getting twice what it got on BBC4. So much for the Guardian readers who said they would never watch a Murdoch channel

Great rating for the finale of Marchlands. Pity for ITV that it probably doesn't have any returnable potential, but its got its worth out of 6 episodes for it. Poor for the Famous, Rich And In the Slums documentary, and it bodes well for Monroe next week, which could launch at a similar figure that Marchlands left off at.

Notable (or not...) mention also for C4, last in the 9pm slot and now with some poor ratings again.

Do you have the ratings for the repeat of Bedlam last night on sky living rzt. Also by any chance do you have the break down of the ratings for Mondays episode. Thanks
