Yes we all know, but the housemates didn't as Nadia wanted to be accepted in the house as a woman & live out her fantasy to be truly accepted as she is now. It has worked pretty well until now, but I think only Dan heard & he already knew about her secret, when they were on the boot camp duty, he told her as much.

Dan has also comforted her tonight, but I don't know how the other housemates will cope with the news if they do know. I hope that they have compassion as one human being to another.

Nadia knew that she would probably get negative as well as positive feedback on her incarceration as a BB inmate. However, and we all feel the need as well to some degree, she wanted to be liked and loved for who she is now, and not what her past was. We all have moments in our past where we wish it to remain quiet. Hers is just slightly bigger than most.

She has been tortured with her decision not to come out to the group, and has been living with that, and the snide digs from other people in there since she made that decision to not kiss and tell. Having got so far in BB i'm sure she is terrified that not only will her housemates ostracise her for her secret that the public will vote against her because she used to be a man.

She will be fully aware of the consequences of her past. She will have had more psycological assesments that even BB contestants get, she will have had to face the prejudice, of which shes desperatly tried to avoid, from the very first day she first wore womens clothing. Despite coming from Portugal she will have had a very hard time in her quest to change her sex in this country, and as general statistics show very few actually have full sex reasignment operations. She should be comended for her braveness, and ability to cope.

Davinas pure gloating when telling housemates who have been evicted has added fuel to this whole thing. If someone was secretly gay she wouldn't even go there. Everyone is allowed their moments, personally I was really disapointed that members of the public would even consider doing such a thing. The look on her face, and her distress was apparent. All i wanted to do was give her a hug and make it ok for her

Lifeforms, I agree with you. Nadia is a fantastic woman and deserves support from the housemates as there are people like Dip Set outside the house who can be very harsh.

I can't see what all the fuss is about. Like Dip Set said, we all knew anyway and the others would find out evenutally. They've accepted Nadia in the house so what does it really matter.

I support Nadia 100 per cent, I think she is great, and has a great big personality which always must have been the same. Thank goodness the british public have taken her to their hearts, she could do witout spiteful comments. I must say that this forum has some very venemous people, thank goodness in the main, the other sort prevail!

Why does she need to tell the HM's - she knows they'll find out later, why make it all about her in the house? Why not just carry on as she is?

Everyone has secrets in their past & it's up to the individual how & when to reveal them and in my opinion it is up to Nadia if she wants the world to know now & the HM's to find out later.

If someone was secretly gay, they'd not have mentioned it at their audition or put it on their 'Hi, I'm xyz tape' they played as they went into the house.

Maybe one of the questions should be would she have got in if she hadn't said she was a transexual? (ie better candidates and she was only chosen because of that?) If she would have got in anywhere then she shouldn't have had to tell anyone. To tell everyone on the outside and not on the inside in this particular situation I think is silly. On the outside do what you like but by being open on the video and not in the house she's opened herself up to all this unfortunate abuse.

I think Nadia's admission of her past on entry to the house was pretty much to avoid some tabloid rag or other coming out with some "exclusive" about her past. Better to get it out the way in advance.

I think the difference between six million viewers knowing and the HMs knowing is that she doesn't have to live with the six million viewers in a high pressure situation.

Having said that, I'm pretty sure the other HMs didn't hear what was said and so story of her past is still relatively safe (maybe Dan caught it but since two of his closer friends are T/S he's hardly going to make any fuss).
