Goodbye Nokia... hello IPhone!

So after always having Nokia phones, I've finally took the plunge and got myself an iPhone.... And I absolutely LOVE it and don't know why I didn't get one earlier!

Can't believe how amazing the screen looks and also how much stuff it can do.

When I used my Nokia 5800 today to look up a number it felt so slow and clunky.

So my question, will Nokia ever have a real iPhone rival? And any tips on any good iPhone apps etc?

Apps depends on what you use but generally you should check out the official facebook/twitter apps if you use those sites. BBC news is ok for news and free. Angry birds is definitely worth a look. The full version is 59p but well worth it.

Just have a browse on the app store and see what takes your fancy. The top 50 free/paid apps are a good start though.

A game. You fire birds at some pigs to try and kill them. It's quite addictive

By concidence, Nokia are tomorrow expected to launch a range of new Android/Windows Phone 7 smartphones. They have lagged behind and insist on using their own outdated OS for their mobiles which has held them back. There's nothing wrong in them using their own OS for standard mobiles but for smartphones? I don't think so! More here http://www.independent.co.uk/news/bu...r-2209872.html.

Both SonyEricsson and LG learned that harsh lesson and they're doing better now.

Really? I didn't notice anything particularly good about the results they posted recently.

Also Sony Ericsson's flagship Xperia X10 was a raging success last year. Saying that the arc does look like it will be a big improvement. Would be hard to do any worse

Good choice,, I have recently gone from an Android phone to an iphone 4 and like you I love it. Another very addictive game is "CUT THE ROPE" I cant stop playing, again you can try it out first on the lite version and the if you like it, just cough up 59p for the full version, Your love it.!

Looks like you made the right move considering nokia have ditched symbian and are launching wp7 devices soon.
