I really really really want that girl who lives in a
£500,000 house and has 5 acres of land and supports
fox hunting to be evicted next Wed,like Victor said she
has sat on the fence all the way thro' apart from mowing
the lawn naked, she's also a know all that knows
everything about everything and crys alot,
so lets get Shell evicted on Wed.

I don't thnk bringing her living style into the argument is important, i am against hunting, i work for a farming organisation against hunting but many of the people i meet who enjoy hunting are on every other matter, pretty sound, salt of the earth types. Neither should you prey on her intelligence as a downfall, I like the juxtaposition of her brainyness and her nakedness Kinda cool.

She may have fencesat in your eyes, perhaps she has, but to me she's just a kind person, there arn't many around anymore and when we see one, we in our cynicism, instantly think the worst.

I agree with you with some of the things you say,
but all that constant talking about having to win because
her mother is in debt i dont like,if they are in debt they
can sell their house and land and move into a cheaper
property.

true, though i think we all become a bit focussed on something is it effects our family, we can't forget about it. i don't know anything about their financial situation but many rural people are struggling, viewed as rich, getting money off subsidy, the actual truth is the opposite. for all i know, the property and land could be their livelihood and it's hard just to be rid of that and can be a massive burden

Is her mum ill? When she was talking about doing the cleaning when she is at home she said she does it all now as her mum can't do it any more and sits in the garden.

Um, she seems to be able to afford to get her hair highlighted every month (80 quid a pop). Shell's a nice girl, but I agree, it itsn't easy to sympathise with someone whose half-mill house somewhat belies the "debt-ridden" grumbles. If only we were all that poor, eh?

I honestly think Shell would be Endemol's idea to win,
dont get me wrong i've nothing against Shell, but i think
she is to nice to be in the bb5 in the first place, they
say she has cried every 3 days since being there.

perhaps that's why, with all these big character satellites, they needed a human touch to bring them back to reality?

janeh, i don't pretend to know what the family troubles are, but not every problem fits nicely into the impoverished box. some of my family look massively wealthy on the outside but due to expensive cancer treatment that needed to be paid for were anything but rich and were strained beyond belief, monetarily and mentally.

I think her mum had an embolism recently.
I can't condemn someone for coming from her background, anymore than I can condemn anyone else for coming from a different one. She didn't have much choice in the matter.
She surely has a right to earn money for whatever legal purpose she likes. There are lots of people who use their money for different things (in her family's case, private education for their children; in someone else's case, a holiday house in Spain, as an example). Misfortune can also strike anyone and if Shell can contribute to them not having to sell their family home, what's wrong with that?

I agree, I don't understand why the fact that someone has money means they don't have hardship? Hardship is not just about being skint, everyone gets sh*t in their lives regardless of what they do or don't have.

I agree with you alot of people have hardship, some
have only the clothes they are wearing but if they had
a £500,000 house to fall back on it would make their hardship just a little bit easier.

Well you can't have everything you want, where would you put it? (as the radio advert says)

Money gives you choices, it doesn't give you immunity from the things that can wreck your life forever. Illness, depression, disability, marital problems, to name but a few. As we don't know the full facts of Shell's home life it's hard to judge if selling the family home could put all or any of the problems they have to rest.

I know people who have plenty of money but I wouldn't swap my life for theirs because I also know that they have other problems that money won't make any difference to.

Do we know her family still live in the £500k house? We know she grew up in one, but that means very little.

I think everyone is being a little unfair, as I don't think we fully know the true story of Shell's family. Like someone said earlier, just cos she doesn't reek poverty on first impressions it doesn't mean her & her family aren't struggling now.

Getting away from health problems,

You seem slightly bitter toward people who have money!

I have none by the way, but each to their own

Yes I shall be gunning for shell next week. So what we need to do is give everyone else a vote assuming it is a positive voting system right?

But all Shell is trying to do is earn some money not compare herself to people on social security or old age pensioners. I don't know why people are so chippy.
