Can't believe it's Hollywood week already!

Hope it's a good show - I usually enjoy Hollywood week.

Good on you for starting the thread. *thumbs up*

Yeah, it seems to have come round ever so fast.

Steven Tyler has really made this series great so far.

Wow, this dude, Brett, is only 16 with such great hair.

Pity he did dull hymn Let It Be though.

Yes, he's been a good addition to the panel! I must confess, I didn't really know of him before,

There's so many of them, this is going to be brutal.

Casey look a good bet to make the top 12

Here's mohican guy from last night.
They showed a clip of him crying, so he's bound to get through.

Sorry editors, but your trickery doesn't work.

What is this, who's got the biggest sob story contest?

I haven't watched any AI so I thought I'd catch up with the Hollywood week shows, but the sob stories are ruining it for me! It's worse than ever and I'm finding it really difficult to watch. I just want more singing, rather than the time being spent on recapping the sad stories of the contestants who will obviously get through.

I really wanted to listen to more of Casey's rendition of Lullaby of Birdland but we barely got 30 seconds of it.

I think Nigel Lythgoe is trying to build up big fanbases before the top 12. Last year people didn't really know the contestants. Smart move even if it is annoying. That is why you are seeing the same people.

The commentary of 'Next we have a heart-wrenching story that if you don't collapse to the ground in floods of tears asking God why he would let this happen to a person then you have no heart....' is very annoying.

That's it, let's have some drama and errrr you know that 'singing' that the contest is supposed to be based on.

They will definitely want to keep Jacee for the top 12

Makes it all seem like a carefully engineered soap opera. Not a big surprise really.

I am so tired of the sob stories. Can we just hear them sing?

Nope, they have to feel like family first. So that we can all get really mad and complain on all the internet forums when they are shockingly eliminated.

I didn't know Paulo Nutini was popular in the US, very surprising song choice.

That country singer guy is so boring, singing the exact same song. Where in the world is Adrienne?

Well I was totally unmoved by that couple being split up.

What was Tiffany Rios on about 'I'm tired of seeing people try to do what I know I can do' or something.

The guy in the audience was like 'What is this girl talking 'bout?'

We got fed all those sob stories only for them to zip past about a dozen people at the end.

Surprised the guy who lived in a shelter didn't get through.

I heard it was a fake romance anyway, so it was even more annoying seeing them 'hurt' and 'devastated' that they'd be separated for a few months.
