Oh god, Scott Mc Dreary I call him, he has a good voice but was there any need to sing that same song again? He doesn't strike me as someone who can do anything apart from country.
Well all my faves went through, good to see Casey progress again.

He is a country singer and he will be sticking to that genre.
They are going to be allowed this year to stick to what the know best. He should have song another song though.

I quite liked the bloke that looked like a chubby Frank Jnr from Friends, there with his ex, thought he had a nice tone to his voice. Was in hysterics when the Ken doll boyfriend got cut though 
Of the girls I would have liked to see Adrianna again and Emily Ann (is that right?), although I still don't know if I could listen to her voice for more then a couple of songs. There's quite a lot of very pretty, long haired girls who sing in exactly the same style who I really can't tell apart at the moment.

Yes but his voice is very old style country, Adrianna is a country singer but she has a more adaptable voice, I would have liked to hear him sing another country song rather than his audition one.

- Julie (She just has something about her that I really love...
- Alaina and Hollie, the two young blonde girls with the country-esque voice
I also love Robbie Rosen too, and was GUTTED when Travis got cut, I thought he'd be top 24 at least...
Looking forward to group stages, it's usually a good laugh.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. There was no stand out talent for me, and instead of suspense the show was dominated by sob stories.

I've a feeling the sob stories are going to drive me mad this year, especially annoying as the new judges are working so well and the show doesn't need it. I'm getting seriously narked off with Chris Mendina getting though entirely on his back story, his Hollywood audition was dire, really bad, anyone without his back story would have gone at that stage - in fact anyone without his back story probably wouldn't have got as far as the judges.
Although Ken Doll boyfriend getting sent home will never not be funny
There's still some I like, and I've learnt from experience I can never tell who I really like until the lives start.
Definitely too many sob stories, or at least too much time devoted to them, especially when they just telegraph those who are going through so obviously...
As annoying as she was, I was surprised that the little performer-bot Victoria got canned so early - she sang well enough, though you could tell the audience hated her...
And yes, it was very satisfying seeing "Ken Barbie" boyfriend get eliminated - I quite liked both of them in their first audition, but they were both very ordinary in Hollywood, and once he was dumped, I went off him very quickly once he started talking/singing back to the judges (you could tell the girlfriend felt the same way!)
