Voting by Gender

Not wishing to inflame those who are arguing the Nadia man/woman debate....but....

Most bookies have "Gender of winner" as an option and at the moment female is massively odds on whilst male is reasonable odds.

If you bet on male and Nadia wins, where do you stand in the eyes of the law ??

The bookies have accepted her as female - so there should be no arguments about it.

I am sure you wouldn't win an argument with the bookies over it, but as her birth certificate says "male", the law will always consider her as such.

Anybody know a good lawyer who could win me millions of pounds if I test the theory out and place a bet ??

FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS MARKET PLEASE NOTE THAT NADIA IS COUNTED AS FEMALE

copied from the Betfair "gender" of winner website.

Most if not all bookmakers have this proviso.

No - the law is changing so the law *will* recognize her as female when this law comes into affect. I believe that Portugal already recongnizes transexuals in law so she may already have a female birth certificate.

i have idea, put some money on either genders to win, then if nadia wins and you say wrong thing, take them to the courts. Even if you dont win in courts, it will be big story for tabloid newspaer and they pay you money anyway
