Hi there,

i unpluged my digi box and now when i plug it back in no leds or fan powers up. you can hear a slight " ticking " but nothing else. i even tried another led from the same type of box.

anybody have any ideas?

the box suddely came back to life after 20mins.

if i change these caps will it sort out the installing of updates too?? i think i read somewhere that once the box downloads it powers the box up to install it, but if the caps are unreliable the download wont install.

seems like maplin is out of stock for a month or so.

For some reason I missed the Thomson forum on here. I've just replaced the 2 caps in a DTI6300 which having googled seems to be a big issue. Also found Maplin to be out of stock for a long time so got them from CPC. Since then have noticed that Martin P (satcure) also does them. Think it's the fan mod next.
