Oh She needs to promote this album. I'm sure it will sell fine without it but to prove that she's still passionate about her career, she needs to promote.

And really promote, not just a few interviews on big american tv shows. worldwide promotion.

what was with SONY flashing across the screen at one point? could we not have seen the choreography we were promised instead?

I like the video, as I pointed out on the Video Thread.
Could do with a bit more fire though.

Watched the video first thing this morning before work.

Plus points:
Love the Concept, the rise, fall and rise again.
It's VERY nice to look at, all shiny and pretty.
The fight sequence
It's not full on dancing, but it's a step up from Circus

Bad points:
Doesn't fit the song at all
This took 6 weeks of rehearsals, she cried over it being so difficult and it's the most complex routine she's ever done, according to Friedman, the man now in charge of all her performances for the album, has me VERY worried. She could do routines better than that in her sleep 5 years ago, so if that really did trouble her, then we're never going to see that Britney back again, and if Brian felt that was really pushing her, we're going to be in for more of the same from now on.
The cuts, far to rushed and stuttery in places, like the circus video.

Still generally pleased with it, just didn't live up to my expectations.

It was never going to though, for many of us.

I hope she does another Me Against The Music at some point, that would be really cool.

Just managed to see Britney's brand new music video.....

Good Points:
The fight breakdown was EPIC, very impactful!

The most fashionable Britney we've seen out of all her videos.

She looked great, nice hair and make up.

The back up dancers were great, loved their choreography.

Loved the imagery and the metaphors.

Great to see a much more dark and twisted conception, makes it more interesting.

Bad Points:
Not enough dancing. Whatever dancing that was showen was very limited and quite stiff. Not impressed at all!!




Overall, a very good music video that is up there with her previous efforts, all i'll say is it's her best since 'Circus' in 2008. What we now need is for Britney to work on a music video that is not edited so much with quick change shots... we need to see Britney just dancing with great choreography.

Anyone else spot, what I think is an error?

Last chorus, right in the middle, as she starts "You Feel Like Paradise" line, she appears to have sleeves on her outfit which the rest of the time is sleeveless.

Not sure if I'm just seeing things but i've paused it a few times and can definitely see black covering the upper part of her arms.

Just how edited is this?

i must honestly say that this video always makes me spot something new every single time!

there's so many very striking images in the video! the veil of cameras, the floating Britney, the spray paint descent, the Britney Vs Britney! the eyeless dancers! the red lips, the fire! the Dancing GImps at the end, the shadow dance! I mean it displays what a music video should be about!

Just hope the video gets the credit it deserves! it is Britney's life displayed in such a crazy stomper of a dance song! in a way no one could quite symbolise it!

up there with Madonna and MJ! Britney really nails symbolic messages in her songs! and this is a perfect example!

While i may have wanted more choreography! there's still more to come! but i loved the visuals and how the pace of the song linked it up etc.

In less than 4 and a half minutes she has shown WHY she is THE Princess of Pop! would Kylie do that? would Riri? would Xtina? would P!nk? on that scale? I love them all dearly but this just shows that Britney can nail it.....all she has to do now is prove it live on a stage, on a show! and there we have it!

damn that catfight though! VERY Buffy-style/Matrix/Xena meets Madonna's Die Another Day! so aggressive yet beautiful to watch!

Cant wait til the promo kicks off....the intro reminds me of the beginning of Oops! video with Mars, very sci-fi vibe!

But yeah a VERY Britney video! and that dress she wore has got to be one of the most iconic clothing pieces ever! and the paint.....damn cannot acclaim this video enough! really made me love the song even more too!

hmmmmm not sure on that Inside Out clip! but then again it's just a snippet!

I am interested in what Ke$ha wrote for her, Til The World Ends i think it's called! sounds interesting!

And the bit where Britney is floating with the eyeless dancers reminds me of the surrealism in Madonna's Bedtime Stories a bit actually! BOTH incredibly powerful and arty!

While loads of people have said that there wasn't enough choreography! i must say (the parts with the white top/shadow sequences) it was used efficiently and actually much more improvement than what we have had in recent years! and live shows. Sure we were all thinking In The Zone style street stuff! but the fact is she may never get that again. However not always a bad thing because the dance in the video was more fluid and less rigid i must say! and something she can pull off great live!

Having said that! I must say that I have seen the video twice on TV so it's doing it's rounds sufficiently (once on chart show and again on Flava which was unusual but i am with it!) and i hope it's promo kicking into gear now! I hope she doesn't spend too much time with Will I Am or else she may end up sounding like what the BEP's are doing or Usher if he himself is on it!

But am very positive about the Femme Fatale era and if more video's are as striking as the HIAM video! we are in for quite the era!

and yes the product placement in pop video's in general can be very annoying! but i have noticed that on UK tv it's been edited out which is cool!

I'm beyond happy with the HIAM video, I'm hoping she can keep a high standard throughout the era now, like ITZ, each single and it's video was as incredible as the last.
