ITV Player
I read somewhere on here the other day about a code you need to unlock the beta itvPlayer. I can't find where I'd read it.
Can someone let me know what I have to do? Thanks in Advance |

P.s I'm using a Humax Freesat+ HD Box, if that makes any difference. |

Does BBC iPlayer work?
Don't forget you need an active network connection to your HDR for these services to work. Dan |

Turned out mine was due to not enough bandwidth as I was streaming internet radio at the time too and my dire connection isn't up to the job...

Have you checked when BT Infinity comes to your area (optical fibre as far as the BT cabinet in your street) ? Early summer for me, I get 3Mbps now and its promising nearly 30 come summertime !
http://www.productsandservices.bt.co...d&vendorid=Z59 I would have thought it would require an enormous amount of work to get that to everyone in an area. (Presumably they can pull the fibre from manhole to manhole through their conduits but it still seems like an awful lot to do.) |

My line that was once capable of 1.9Mbps now only manages a measly 0.7Mbps and on a good day 1.0Mbps. Edit: these are connection speeds- throughput speeds are much lower. http://www.speedtest.net/result/1159952112.png |

March 2011 is the claimed date by Openreach, the new cabinets are in place but little else workwise has ensued. Many people are reporting target dates being missed and schedules being put back around the country.

Chris. . It's been a long running issue that's deteriorated over a long period of time (lots of dropped connections and poor resync speeds) but has accelerated in the last few months or so. I've had openreach check my line and internal wiring and with regards the later all checks out ok. As for the line from the exchange of which apparently a large amount consists of aluminium they suggest the distance from the exchange is the cause, although the cabling hasn't increased in length since I first got B/band. ![]() My line attenuation is as when first installed and more often than not my line noise is likewise. But anyway thanks for the rsponse brumlad. |

My hometown seaford is not even mentioned and they only offer up to 8meg normal broadband.
Peacehaven I see is listed twice on their list ![]() I get just over 11meg with O2. Automan. |
