depends on the whereabouts
if it was a local takeaway and I wanted food straight away then they usually would have chicken ready whereas they'd have to cook a burger and would have to make a pizza from scratch. If it was a retail park/services then it would probably have either a McD or a KFC or both so could take your pick. With the choices though i'd say chicken

Why no fish and chips, chinese, indian or none of the above?
Whatever, mine would be none of the above.

Whatever, mine would be none of the above. ![]() Chinese is usually about 5 mins or so, but I would never consider going to the Indian without phoning to order first, its always a minimum of 20 mins, so not fast food. When McDonalds arrived I realised I could get a burger in the same time I could buy a bag of crisps, thats fast food. |

And I chose pizza, since fast food burgers are not that filling and I can't stand KFC style chicken. So I hope it doesn't get removed from the list

But you have to wait for Pizza too, up to 15 minutes wait. So if that is the case then Pizza is not fast food and shouldn't be on the list.

I was thinking of the pizza huts that you get in food courts as fast food, where there is a very limited range and they have them ready.
I agree that Chinese and Indian food isn't that fast, but I suppose fast food term has been stretch to cover a lot of type of foods, that are not fast but seem to be able to fall under the fast food banner. |

Hmm it is usually always pizza when I'm drunk. I've ordered a mild chicken curry twice, but it was stinking. I blame the alcohol.

surely a pizza takes just as long as an indian or chinese, how about kebabs the king of fast food for drunks. Also missed off fish and chips.

I voted pizza but not very often first choice would be anything from chippy, most of the time it's chips, peas, gravy or feeling extravagant fish & Chips

I am on a health kick at the moment so none of the above for me
![]() In general we don't eat much fast food - if I fancy a pizza I normally buy one from the shop {Co-Op do a lovely Margerita}.... Not had pizza since I stuck one in the oven on NYD I would say we had MacD about 5 times last year (mainly for convenience and not because it's preferred) and I don't think I've had KFC since I before we moved so 14/15 months ago?? ![]() The only thing we used to get quite regularly was a take-away kebab. We have a lovely local place that delivers the most succulent, freshly cooked chicken shish - delish!! Plus it was pretty healthy in terms of fast food... |

I didn't put Fish & Chips or Chinese or Indian because I rate them as one rung up the fast food ladder.
Burgers, Pizza and Fried Chicken are the real basic fast foods I think. |
