Tivo box size

Can anyone confirm the actual size of the Tivo box?

I need to know before ordering as I have a fairly shallow depth cabinet.

Also has anyone heard how noisy it is? My current V+ box is very noisy...

Its best described as petit and is very quiet compared to the S.A V+HD box it replaced and is also quieter than my S1 Tivo or SkyHD boxes beside it.

I had a Demo of the Tivo Box at a Virgin Store
and it was quite big but very thin,

It doesn't have to because the power supply is separate; i.e. a power brick.

if you know how big the vhd box is about the size of two stuck together side by side. It will be noisiest when recording three channel's at once, which is not enabled yet. Its been whisper quiet to me my xbox slim is louder.
