Well the bum-pinching one could be read as her laughing at the hypocrisy of the hater berating her for kissing that guy but saying nothing to John about the bum pinching.
I know there are cyber crimes departments, but again, if no physical threats of violence have been made, and there are no instances of the hater invading her privacy in real life, I'm not sure what they can do.
I agree about the block and report button...if it worked. Twitter are bloody useless and the hater just keeps making new accounts. I can understand the temptation for Josie to respond- I would too.

I didn't say she was deliberately encouraging, but she does know they do react, you can see from her twitter page.

If she had reported it to the relevant authorities they would have told her to block and report every time, not to interract with them. If she has an IP address, then it's easy to find out who it is. It's a bit like having somebody's National Insurance number

The tweet about bum pinching quoted wasn't from Josie. The one Josie replied to the supervforce tweeter was the one saying 'Give it up. We all know who u are. X x goodbye.' That was all she's said to them today. Or was the bum pinching one something she sent to that hater previously?

The bit about photos is when the hater was trying to say the pic Josie took of John and George Lamb's feet proved it was taken at JJJ towers. It wasn't that the hater was saying about having photos of inside their flat, they were trying to prove from screen caps of the documentary that the wooden flooring was the same. (It totally wasn't btw )

I'm going to try and finally watch the JJJ Awards some time this weekend, couldn't watch them at all when they came out, maybe because there was so much traffic as everybody was watching them, but I can't really never see them it'd be a bit of a JJJAT crime lol Pas made a lovely list of winners the other night, so I do know that quite a few I voted for won, but will be nice to see it properly (I did watch the first two, but they just stopped and started so much, even with buffering - Finny did such an amazing job with them, amazing woman )

To get someones IP address you have to go through certain procedures. Twitter does not have logs of IP s thats why it's so simple to have muliple accounts. The IP address can only be made avaiable by your broadband provider and even then at providers own discrettion.

I know you weren't suggesting that she was encouraging them deliberately. I just meant that I don't think any encouragement from her is intentional. She isn't purposefully tweeting to cause an uproar. Some of her followers are going to react anyway. People read her @ mentions and jump down the throat to anyone being slightly negative about her or John.

I thought maybe she had said that she had their IP address as a scare tactic. But I hope if she does have it that she does report it. How does she know for SURE that this hater is the same person sending her hate mail? There seem to be a few like-minded haters of hers on twitter sadly. Or did someone think they are one and the same under different twitter account names?

Yeah, i think it was. I couldnt remember where we found out that Josie had been crying on the phone to John in Australia about it all until Spew reminded me that it was from Phil's phonecall

Actually, Josie does claim she knows who it is but has never in any way let on who that person is. So probably it's best if we all let it drop, at least from this thread, if we can't from twitter, whatever our suspicions might be.
