Do you think Global will launch another Capital station on Digital One across the UK similar to Smooth Extra and Heart Extra with the London Breakfast being on between 06.00 - 10.00 followed by non stop music until 19.00 then a simulcast of Capital London until 10.00 the next morning.

The station could be called Capital Hits. Capital has less UK coverage than Heart and Smooth so this station may be launched to serve areas of the UK where there is no Capital station on FM.

Pandora leaves Capital for Kiss and a few behind the scenes staff are moving to new positions at global or are leaving the group.

Hopefully Ant Payne or Christian Williams move to the morning slot, they're both great

Interesting times ahead at Capital one would think, "the next phase " is approaching, whatever that is ?
The one big thing I guess they still can't is network breakfast, it will be interesting to see how the promised further de-regulation of the sector pans out, it may actually remove any requirement for locally produced shows.

That is a real shame. I'm a big fan of Neev. I wonder where she is off to.

I wonder who is going to replace Pandora then? I wonder if there going to be a massive schedule change to then?

KISS Programme Director Andy Roberts told us: “Pandora really understands what is needed to engage audiences in a multi-platform world – she’s going to be a great addition to the KISS team and we can’t wait for her to join.”

I'll give Bauer their credit they're brilliant at corporate BS. What he should have said is, "Pandora really understands how to talk for 20 seconds and then press play..."

I wonder if Marvin Humes will be moved to daytime – as a “name” it seems a bit of a waste to have him on in the evening. Global does have form in putting names on 10am-1pm over on Smooth (Kate Garraway) and Radio X (Vernon Kay).

Don’t know how that would fit in with Marvin’s work schedule – I believe he does This Morning occasionally.

Anyone could do what she does! Her voice sounds nice, that's her only talent if you can call it that. I've noticed that the presenters on Kiss do talk a little more than Capital. So maybe she will have to talk for 40 seconds now.

As for networking breakfast, hopefully this won't ever happen. I don't think in the big cities it's worth doing. I think they'd actually lose too many listeners for it to be worth the money they'd save.

Lol... some people on here are ridiculous. I think she's pretty good - bang on-brand for Capital. And indeed Kiss for her next move.

Really strange move in many ways. You'd look at Capital as a bigger brand, but Kiss are pretty much their biggest rival.

I'm guessing she was either poached with a very good offer, or told she better find employ elsewhere by Tabor.

So I exaggerated slightly. But I think what you're saying is ridiculous also. I don't know how you can think she's pretty good. What's good about her exactly? She comes on briefly between songs and says how the next song has dominated the Big Top 40 for the last few months (or some other rubbish) and then presses play. That's it. That's not talent, in any shape or form.

You're half right. Yes, they do have big plans for Roman but that will be at the expense of The Bassman. You can expect to see Roman turning up between 1 and 4 before too long. Probably around the same time that Rob Howard takes over London drive from Greg Burns.

Ashley is almost certainly sharpening his axe as we speak, ready to rampage round Leicester Square like an egocentric Grim Reaper!

When Paul Jackson made the curious decision to bring in James Bassam for early breakfast (2008 I think), I really did not think he'd form a key part of a national Capital in 8 years' time.

So, in reference to what Hitmusic said, it's strange that Pandora would be moved on before him.
