They're far less tight than most US CHR stations and, indeed, Atlantic 252 which many people remember fondly from the 90s.
CHR stations have had tight rotations ever since the format was invented more than 50 years ago. In the US 90 minutes is quite normal and seems not to be a problem.”
There is one in New York (Amp 92.3) which repeats tracks in as little as 65 minutes.

Why get rid of a presenter because of age? Bass works perfectly with the capital format regardless of how old he is. Other hit music stations around the globe don't axe hosts cause of age, look at Elvis Duran on Z100 NY, the NYC version of Capital. He's basically the face of that station despite being 51.

Ah right i see your point lol, well Bassman dose the show well.
That's bizarre - I was just thinking yesterday about how long Greg Burns has been on London drive for, and how much longer he'd continue.
Sounds like a good move for everyone involved, though - certainly not the usual 'X will no longer be working here, we wish him all the best' statement from Global!

That's because they wanted to keep him at global but he decided to move to Australia. He has a good relationship with the whole team at global, Which makes a change.
