I can almost guarantee that Sophie is right, pretty sure Global wouldn't want to piss off ofcom without removing local programming, especially the one of the welsh speaking one as they take more local programmes.

They will have cleared it with Ofcom before hand, Ofcom are usually pretty accommodating for one off's. It's not a regular occurrence so Ofcom would approve it without much issue. Such requests to ofcom also include doing a program from outside the TSA or cutting news bulletins for an event.

One minute you're going on about how you can't wait for Capital to drop local programming, the next your banging on about how bad it is that they've dropped it for an event. You need to work out what your opinion is...

Now Capital NE's Breakfast co-host Dcarlett Moffat has been crown Queen of the Jungle after winning I'm A Celebrity I wonder if Global may consider a move to London for her and team her up with Dave & George.

Personally i can see her leaving global, theres rumours around that ITV and C4 are both interested in her to front a show with offers around the Million Pound mark. Obviously she could do a radio show as well however i'm pretty sure the TV work will take priority.

What we need are more presenters on Viagra to stop this sort of thing happening.

I think Declan will be disappointed given his location - Can't see them dropping Welsh programming in Gwynedd!

Scarlett Moffatt and unless you watch Gogglebox or I'm A Celebrity or listen to Capital in the North East then chances are you won't know her.

However I'd say she will be pretty hot property in 2017

If capital does got national I guess the London breakfast show will become the main one. I don't live in London but what is the show like? How are the three together? Who is the best present and who is the worst? Can it beat radio 1?

Lets play it little game of Guess the Venue and the Date, before they suprise us on Monday at 8am

so my predictions for this years event are:

Venue: the Iconic o2 Arena in London
Date: Saturday 3rd December / Sunday 4th December 2016

Anyone know any different?”

And what is the problem with all of this? You don't need to predict, It's all fact.

Same every year, JJB is broadcast across the network.

It's rubbish. Global would seriously need to up their game to take it national. Real personalities, attention grabbing stuff and actually less music.

Personally I dont think the current Capital London breakfast show is strong enough to go UK wide. Ive listened a few times and I just didnt like it. Dave with 2 new presenters might work
