The problem is that the Dave and Lisa partnership was so good that it would be hard to match that with giving Dave another co-presenter. He's too old to fit in with the infantile style of the current hosts and they're not strong enough to continue without him.
I'd say the best thing to do is start fresh, maybe swap Dave to Drive and put Will on breakfast with a new co-host

There's no doubting that Dave is good, but I just think the breakfast show needs something fresh to keep it on top

Thats a good ifea Dave on his own at Drive could work with maybe Will and Aimee on breakfast.

Or they could totally change the schedule if they go national and have some presenters from the local stations getting networked.

Dave is 38 which is quite old for the age group they are targeting so I think Will on Breakfast would be a good option

It did, to be honest it's about time they bring in fresh voices.

So, how many of the audience will know that, and the odd few that do won't even care!

When it comes to considering replacements it's probably a factor they'll consider

Baz todd is hardly on Capital Liverpool now apart from cover on Capital N Wales, I know someone said a while back on here that he was contracted till December 2016, unless working 7 days was too much for him considering he does the Breakfast show from wish fm.

Moving to London. Money presenting on Capital NE just doesn't match with tv earnings. Good for her.

Roman Kemp has surely got to be in with a chance of replacing Dave sometime in the near future. His TV profile is going to increase with a new ITV2 Sunday show coming in the New Year.

Why should they have to tell "us"? It's a private company so they can do what they want. It was obvious she wouldn't be sticking around on a regional station when she won I'm A Celebrity. The value of her stock would have gone up ten fold!

Kids LOVE Christmas songs. Yet the lack of them on Capital yet again this year is another sign of how out of touch the station is. This assumption that they only wanna hear songs from the past few months isn't vaild. Have you ever seen a childs reaction when a Christmas song is played on the radio...? Priceless. Playing a Christmas song every 2hrs is a massive fail.

When I've listened they've been playing no less than 1 an hour, that's not far off what I've heard from GEM and smooth who have been averaging about 2 an hour

I still am. But there are always ways a station/company can improve. Not everything anyone does is perfect...!
