You seriously think the audio quality is the reason for Capital FM's position in the London market? I'm sure it's to do with the music.

You're absolutely right.

My point was, after -ajm- suggested that Capital's processing would cost it listeners, that the fact it's back at number 1 suggests that's absolutely not the case.

What I'm saying is I don't see how it would make a difference.
I wouldn't mind so much if there wasn't so much distortion.

They've been playing them again for at least two weeks.

James Barr is live from Wembley tonight, ahead of the Sumertime Ball tomorrow....

Sadly, he still isn't in the mix - so looks like they've been axed.

Bit weird that they'd axe the mixing bit especially since they mention it on the website.

With him coming from the STB though surely it's better to just play the hits rather than go in the mix? I'm not listening though so don't really know what the coverage is like for tonight, ahead of tomorrow. Are they doing backstage tours or something?

I wonder if it will magically 'reappear' after the STB?

Also, they're still publishing playlists as if it was 'In The Mix'

I'd love it if they did come back...but I doubt it, because he hasn't done them since Mid May...

Errr....actually, it wasn't just the letters you missed, but the ones you added too!

Interesting that seem to be 'in' on Global's music research results - perhaps you'd like to share in more detail what you know about 'Show Me Love'.

Can't wait for the response!! Could be EXTREAMLY interesting. Guess we'll have to wait though. He's clearly part of the Global inner-sanctum and is therefore guaranteed to be at the Summertime Ball

All global staff have to pay for their stb tickets, so no everyone isn't guaranteed to be at the stb.

What letters did I add? What would you like to know about show me love?

Well there's no 'A' in Extremely - at least there wasn't when I went to school!

As for 'Show Me Love' you were telling us how well it 'rates' with 15-24 year olds. Just wondering if you would let us know who you've surveyed, when your survey took place, and what methodology you used to get your results? Think of it as your chance to prove to SP that you do know what you're talking about!

I should blooming well hope so too. But let's put it this way. There can't be many Global employees who aren't there...

And why would I need to prove myself to anyone on here, least of all SP. You all think I'm some other person who's changed their name anyway. #weird

You my friend, are a very funny man!! I have a pretty good idea who you are - that is someone with no direct connection with the radio industry. You take an interest, you admittedly have a little knowledge, but are too daft to realise there's plenty of people on these forums who know an awful lot more - SP among them. Maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt it. I'd kind of guessed you had changed your name too - after all I don't think you were christened 'Hitmusic'.

I totally respect your right to post and offer an opinion on here, but if you give it the large one, occasionally you'll be asked to back it up. So back to your research results for 'Show Me Love'........ what ya got???
Hitmusic

I'm fully aware sp knows more as he works for global. I've NEVER in any post said I work for global! What large one have I given? I'm allowed my opinion, just like the do gooders on here.
