I will try.

First of all in the words of hitchikers guide to the galaxy "DON't Panic )

To bring up the electronic programme guide (epg) to tell you what's on, either press schedule (which shows you what you have asked the box to record next) and then red to show the saved epg or guide to get a whole new guide.

Find a programme you want to record ( the keys apart from up/down/left/right are shown on the epg). Press OK and simply follow the prompts (selecting series records all the episodes in a folder (or directory depending on how old you are). Think of a folder as a filing cabinet drawer, all the recordings are in the drawer.

To view recordings already made use the arrow keys to move to the recording or if it's a series to the folder. Press OK to open a folder or if it's a one off recording to display the options to play etc (delete is one off the options) or after opening a folder do the same.

You will have loads more questions, just ask
