DTI6300 25 Keeps adding an hour to the front of recordings
My DTI6300 25 has started adding an hour or more to the front of some of it's recordings.
This is a pain for 2 reasons. 1. I have to fast forward through the unwanted recorded material. 2. I am losing a huge amount of disk space on unwanted recorded material. Is this a common phenomenon? Can I do anything to fix it? Mervyn |

Mine is still doing it, but as you can see, there have been no ideas put forward as to the cause.
Mine has also started to occassionally add a huge amount of recording after the requested programme. When you add this to the constant freezes, missed recordings for no apparent reason, etc. you can't help but wonder how Thomsom have got away with marketing such a glitch laden product. ![]()

I have a similar problem.
As an example, if I wanted to record a programme at 8pm for an hour on BBC1, and the box was currently tuned to another channel, then it would record as programmed. However, if the box was already tuned to BBC1, then the recorded programme would have an extra (up to) 1 hour tacked onto the begining. My "pause live TV" is set to 60 minutes. |
