orange signal issues

Has any one else been having issues with orange signal lately,

A couple months ago without fail used to always have full signal, now i am lucky to get half strengh signal, and most days now on way to and from work, i keep loosing signal

However this is on the exact same route have been doing on orange for years without any problems?.

Could it be an issue with my phone or is it the orange masts? Could it have anything to do with the Tmobile mast sharing?

I'm not sure about the technical possibilities, but since I opted into the T-Mobile sharing thing, my Orange signal has been awful.

Also (unrelated to the T-Mobile thing, I think), the Orange 3G service has been terrible recently. I often get the 'could not activate cellular data network' message on my iPhone, and I used to see that very, very rarely.

The company is as we speak in the middle of merging the two networks, so I would assume this is the brunt cause of it all. Plymouthbloke will be able to give more info on this.

If you turn off your 3g the signal will probably boost quite dramatically...or it does on mine anyway. Obviously if you need to use the net you need to turn it back on.

Hi

If you're experiencing any signal problems, I'd be happy to see if there are any current network issues in your area. If any transmitters are degraded, I may be able to give an estimated resolution time.

Although I'm unable to ask for personal information on this forum, if you send us your postcode via Facebook or Twitter, I'll be happy to look into this for you.

I hope we can help.

I did here in York, but contacted Orange and they told me the mast was under repair. It took a couple of weeks to fix it, but the signal is fine now.

I CONSTATLY have a bad signal where I live. Here's a little tip for you, you can now use t-Mobiles network, so find out how to pick networks with your phone and use t-mobbile, I get 1-2 bars in my house with T-moble, from most like Limited service.
