I could be miles off but something about Julie Zorilla shouts 'invited' to top 13.

Paul McDonald is probably the contestant who looked least surprised about getting through to the last 24, maybe something in that. Not that I mind as I really like him.

He's been touring with his band the Grand Magnolias. Supported the likes of Sarah Bareilles (sp?). They played SXSW, probably the largest music festival in the US... So basically he's a proper seasoned musician who's tried the hard way and is now going for the easier route, somewhat like Matt Cardle (dare I say!
