Is anyone else enjoying the recent story lines ?

I'm loving Iolo, Alun and Ceri. I think that's going to turn into a really good, heart wrenching, storyline. Colin and Anita have real possibilities too, especially with Charlie and his mum coming to town. Charlie is a bit much, I think, but he's only a kid. Is Lois pregnant? Another one I'm looking forward to.

I'm getting rather tired of "life on the farm". I love the actress Emily Tucker but Sioned is getting on my last nerve these days. When are we going to find out who torched her car (Gethin?) and when is Eileen going to throw her out of Penrhewl?

Other things driving me crazy at the moment.... Why has Garry just let things drop about getting revenge on Yvonne? I don't really believe he just want to spend time with Gwern before he goes to jail - that's not very Garry! I'm not fond of Mr. Probert but the whle storyline with Denz, Marian and the shop is interesting.

How do you even say the name of that soap? and why is it never regonised at the soap awards?

people of the valley is the english trans and its never at the soap awards cause its a welsh language soap on a small channel, it is subbed though.

I used to watch this uni in bristol ,for some reason our television got s4c but not channel 4?! given that im English and i don't speak welsh ,we'd all sit round trying to work what the hell was going on from the odd english word! I think it was on before hollyoaks. then we got virgin and it was bye bye ' POBBlY COME ' << that's how i pronounced it !

Anyone watching PYC? It has been great of late. Garry going off to jail. Lois secretly pregnant. Dani cheating on Brandon with Garry. Iolo and Alun getting together. Sioned endless horribleness.

I loved the twist of Garry and Dani. I never saw that coming! In fact, I'm enjoying most of the storylines at the moment. I think Lois' pregnancy is being well handled too.

Well it's quite easy really.....

Dani and Brandon are planning to have a baby so there is a possibility that it could be Garry's although I hope not. Brandon would be heartbroken.

Gaynor is in denial about Lois' pregnancy. I don't know how long they both think they can hide it in that small village.

Sion and Alun need to chill out and stop stressing Iolo out.

Is Ffion is an alcoholic?

Dani would have to discover she's pregnant pretty quickly for them to be able to create a "Who's the Daddy?" storyline. It could happen though, anything can happen in Cwmderi!

I think Ffion may be an alcoholic. She's had alcohol issues before (getting caught drink-driving). She seems to find solace in drink and has been very down lately. She isn't my favourite character by a long way but I feel so sorry for her.

Nope. She's not said anything much about the father which has only led Gaynor to assume that Huw's the father.

Huw is going to be hurt when the truth comes out. Both his girlfriend and best friend have betrayed him.

Is Garry really going to jail? I think he will be spared at the last moment somehow.

PYC is my favourite soap. The characters are fantastic and so believable, and the storylines are brilliant.
It`s very painful to watch, but I am loving the storyline of Sioned bullying her Mother. I just want to slap her fort what she is putting poor Eileen through.

Huw will be devastated. I'm looking forward to when Gaynor and Hywel eventually find out that Rhys is the father! There will be fireworks!
I don't think Garry will go to jail either. I think he'll find a way out of it, using Yvonne somehow maybe?

Wavlovr - I can't wait for Sioned to get a taste of her own medicine! Macs is taking a keen interest in her business. Maybe he rips her off and leaves her broke? That's my theory anyway

I would love it if Macs stole all of Sioned's money. She deserves to lose everything for the way that she treats her mother.

Hywel was lecturing Gaynor about dealing with Lois reasonably. I can't wait to see how understanding he is when he finds out that Rhys is the father.

I got the impression that Garry was taunting Yvonne in that last episode when they were going to the engagement party.

I think that Dani could get pregnant immediately and be unsure about the paternity. I am also looking forward to how Scion, Iolo, and Alun resolve their issues.

PYC has so many good stories. Other than EastEnders, it is my favorite soap.

Wow it`s an excellent theory WelshHoll. I`d love it if Macs got the better of Sioned. She deserves taking down a peg or two.
I would love it if Anti Marion and Denzil overheard Sioned being vile to her Mother. They both think the sun shines out of Sioned and can do do wrong in their eyes. And how perfect it would be if somehow Anti Marion got her money back. Sioned doesn`t deserve a penny.
If only Pobol Y Cwm was more well known in England - I would have voted Sioned Rees for best bitch. Emily Tucker is playing the role brilliantly.

I agree! The actress is great. She makes me dislike Sioned but I still want to watch her.

Sioned is acting like a sociopath. Why on earth is Eileen protecting Sioned?

Sion needs to stop sticking his oar in Iolo's business. Iolo isn't a child. He and Alun can figure out their own problems

I wasn't interested in Colin's job search.

I`ve always liked Sion, and as much as it pains me to say it. ... keep your neb out Sion - Iolo is a grown man.
No doubt Alun will find someone else soon or go back to Ceri. He doesn`t seem to be the sort of person who can go the distance where relationships are concerned. Sion needs to back off.

Whatever Sioned is doing to the shop, it`s going to be tacky and way over the top - not to mention expensive merchandise that no one wants.

I'm not ready to dismiss Alun. I thought he would stay in the closet, but he left Ceri and came out. He and Iolo love each other so I think once the immediate drama passes, they might be okay. It is hard to tell because Sion is making their lives difficult and they haven't gotten a chance to be a real couple.

I feel the same about Colin. He's probably my least favourite character. I just can't seem to warm to him, his acting is very over the top in my opinion!

I think Eileen has been protecting Sioned partly because she's scared of her and she knows what she's capable of and partly because she is her mother after all. I'm glad Cadno has witnessed the behaviour now.

I'm still not sure what to make of Alun. There's something about him I don't trust. I think he's slowly and subtly trying to make Iolo choose between him and his family. Turning up at the party for example. I think he was expecting to be booted out and have Iolo follow him.
