Last night's episode was my worst nightmare - Colin trying to do "serious" acting and then Charlie showed up too! I skipped most of the episode!
I don't have an opinion on Gethin, but I think that he and Scott could leave and I wouldn't miss either of them. |

I'm not buying Sheryl and Gethin as a couple. I agree that he seems a bit sleazy and slightly dodgy, like there's something more sinister than just a scooter business going on in that garage.

I'll agree with everyone who says they like Colin as comic relief. I can't STAND Charlie! Far too Charles Dickens for me! Guess I'm FF-ing through most of yesterdays show
I really like Gwen_PYC's idea that it's Macs' unresolved feelings about his mother's death that are motivating him to get revenge on Sionned. I'm a big Macs fan, even though (because?) he's a bad boy in training. Sion needs to stand by this son of his too. I don't have a clue why Garry and Dani slept togehter (except for "plot contrivance theatre"). It really, really isn't something Garry would do. Not to family... never to family. As to Dani, only the second man she ever slept with and it's Garry?! I loved the Monks in Newcastle but I can certainly see how they can be overused. And I'm looking forward to Garry's trial if only to see what Yvonne is going to do! I get major "sleeze vibes" from both Alun and Gethin and I can't quite put my finger on it. I was really shocked when they brought Gethin back (he was so pointless the first time around). Over all, I'd have to say I like the pace of the show. I've given up on Corrie because it's just too sensationalist these days and there is zero humor. At least folks still laugh in Cymderi |

Other than Pobol y Cwm, I only watch EE regularly. I have never been able to get into Corrie and Emmerdale is up and down. I used to watch Hollyoaks, but it is now dreck, imo.
Question: Other than Digital Spy or the boring official Web site, is there any where to get spoilers for Pobol y Cwm? |

I'm enjoying the new Griffiths/Mark double act! An unlikely pairing but it works!

Question: Other than Digital Spy or the boring official Web site, is there any where to get spoilers for Pobol y Cwm? Oh I hope not!!! I'm with WelshHoll - one of my favorite things is *not* having spoilers. They definitely ruined Corrie for me (well... that and Collinson It's so refreshing not to know what's going to happen and, since I watch with Welsh subtitles, I often don't know what *has* happened! I sometimes look at the week's spoilers on DS but I almost always regret doing it. So much better to watch it play out (but I know... spoilers are addictive!)So glad to see this thread is so active!!! Let's try to keep it going |

Great episode, much better than yesterday's stinker.
As much as Garry gets on my nerves, I really enjoy watching him squirm. Brandon is such a good brother trying to help him get another character witness. Hywel refusing to give one and then hitting Garry up for more money was good stuff. Couldn't happen to a more deserving guy. Of course, Garry gave Yvonne that smug look when she realized that he had been snooping. Griffiths and Mark are loads of fun. I laughed when Ricky and Indeg locked Griffiths in the shed and when Mark was stringing Griffiths along before him letting out. Sioned is such a biatch. How could she even say that Ffalm could be dead? She needs taking down a peg or two. I'm glad that Sion is making an effort with Alun and Iolo. I hope that he and Britt are wrong and that Alun and Iolo can work things out. Sion should go back and work for Alun. I don't see how he can choose to be unemployed with all those children to support. Britt has four (or three?) children and he has Huw. |

Another great episode. I cheered when Eileen embarrassed Sioned and then slapped the hell out of her in front of everyone. Sioned is crazy. I couldn't believe it when she destroyed Eileen's Easter eggs. I'm glad that Cadno told Denzil that Sioned has been nasty to Eileen. I'm so glad that Scott found Fflam, some good news for Eileen.
Alun needs to chill the hell out and Iolo should stand up for himself. If Iolo doesn't love him any more or is uncertain, he should just end it. Marian telling Griffiths not to talk too much and taking away his drink was so funny. Griffiths' speech was very nice, too bad he was saying all those things about Sioned. I also liked Griffiths putting Dai in his place. Ffion is spiraling downwards. She is going to end up in AA at the rate she is going. |

Alun is slowly building up his control over Iolo. If Iolo ever decides to end it, I think Alun has the potential to get very nasty!
Sioned getting a slap in the chops is my favourite TV moment of the week. I don't usually advocate violence but good for Eileen! On a side note - no Colin again! lol

One minute Iolo is in love with Alun and wants him to leave his wife, now he isn't sure.

I don't think Iolo knew what he was letting himself in for! He'd only seen the fun side of Alun with the sneaking around and the undercover dates, which I think he found quite exciting. Now that's he's actually in a full and open relationship with Alun, he's seeing him for who he really is - jealous, insecure, possessive, controlling. I can see it from Alun's side too though. He has sacrificed a lot to be with Iolo and if he leaves, Alun will be left with nothing. I can't see Alun staying for the long term, I think as he becomes more and more controlling and the dilemmas that come with it are played out, Iolo will eventually leave him.

It would be nice to have a happy, normal, gay couple in Cwmderi just getting on with it and no drama. There aren't many on TV. (There's Gwyneth and Yvonne but I think that relationship is doomed!)

Do you think that Brandon and Dani can survive her sleeping with Garry? I would like to think one of the couples that I like has hope. |

Wednesdays PYC was just fantastic.
I don`t condone violence in any way, but I would loved to have used that rolling pin on Sioned the same way she used the rolling pin to smash those chocolate eggs that Eileen made so beautifully. What a vicious hateful brat she is. If I was Eileen I`d throw all her stuff outside in the cow manure and tell her to go sleep in the flat over her beloved shop. When will Denzel and Anti Marion wake up and see Sioned is a hateful bully. I`m so happy Fllam is back safe and sound. I really did cheer out loud when Scott brought him back to Eileen. I hope Scott will be protective of Eileen now and not let Sioned bully her Mother anymore. Scott had a lucky escape dumping Sioned. I am loving Griffiths more with each episode. The best thing the writers ever did was to intoduce us to Indeg. She`s brought out a side of Griffiths that is wonderful to see. I would love Indeg to be a permanent character. |

It was a great episode. I think I'll watch it over so that I can enjoy watching Eileen go off on Sioned again. It was sweeet! Quote:
I'm not sure to be honest. Maybe if Dani had slept with someone else (Macs maybe) then they could've got through it. The fact that she slept with Garry will be the ultimate betrayal for Brandon, on both sides. Brandon has already been so hurt in the past, especially after his marriage to Sheryl's mother Julie went belly-up, I don't think he could get through it again
Poor Brandon. |

I think it'll be a while yet - Anti Marian thinks the sun shines out of Sioned's backside and Denzil's still reeling about going from employer to employee of his own child. I think it'll take Anti Marian actually witnessing Sioned's behaviour before she believes it, she won't believe Cadno or Eileen.
With Eileen slapping her in front of everyone it gives Sioned the sympathy vote, and that`s just sickening. |
