A friend of mine has the DT16300-16 recorder. Since the recent channel changes on the local transmitter they have been unable to receive certain channels - notably ITV1 being one of them!

They have tried retuning, but the recorder consistently fails to find a number of channels, including ITV1.

I don't have the recorder in front of me and I'm trying to advise them by email and phone. I'm not familiar with the recorder myself.

Is there a quick and easy fix for this problem? I find it hard to believe that ITV1 is not being transmitted, so there must be a problem of some sort with the recorder setup.
