Anyone else heard it yet? I'd like to go on record and say that 'Wounded Rhymes' is pretty damn a-mazing. It's a bigger and more ambitious album than what Youth Novels was. It's got a whole 60's vibe going on with it and at the same time it's also a lot darker and haunting as well. Bigger drums, better production, seductive lyrics and vocals... it's a beeping great album

I know this forum is obsessed with crap Pop but I'm begging you all to give both this and Ladytron - '00-10' a listen. Your ears will thank you for it, I promise.

I've liked all three of the songs that have been released. Darker, dirtier and noisier than her previous work.

Youth Novels was such a good album, and from what I've heard so far, this one's shaping up to be good.

Does anyone else think she looks strangely like Lady Gaga in some lights?

Personally it's not the sort of music I'd usually go for, but I've listened to it twice so far and it's a lovely listen. Very enjoyable.

MP3 album is just £5 from 7digital this week:

Why haven't Lykke Li's last few singles done better? Really good pop songs. Does anyone know if they charted or if Radio 1 bothered to play them?

I just downloaded this album and Ive only listened to the first two songs but it seems pretty damn good...
Scandinavian pop music is often better than british and american pop music though I think at least the stuff Ive heard.

I've heard a few of her other songs. I've just started listening to this on grooveshark. Youth Knows No Pain is good.

ETA - I'm liking the sound of this album.

Too ' 60's kitsch sounding for me I'm sorry - although can understand why she's popular. Not a fan of C86 / twee pop / shambling / indie pop sort of sound which alot of Swedish artists have seemed to have latched onto at the moment

I just heard it...I expected it to be worse than it is, I have to admit.

Though obviously Lykke's version is better!
