Vodafone CS
Chris..

My mothers HTC just doenst seem to want to use vodafones data. Changed the APNs, factory resetted the phone. Data is dog slow outside of the house, thats when it actually works. Fed up of running around in circles and being told to do the same things over and over again by voda Is there an easy way to jump to the top of their call center staff so I don't have to repeat myself for the 4th time today?
Thanks

Could try tweeting them. Also there's a good chance one of their forum team may pop up in this thread sooner or later who should be able to help

Nothing back on Twitter yet. I just feel as if i'm being taken for a mug 3g connectivity rarely works outside of the house (where we use wifi) so how would a sure signal even help? Said the phone may be faulty and to possibly contact HTC about their warranty...When my SOGA rights are going to be with voda :S

Hi Chris..,

I am sorry to hear you are having some problems with the signal. I would like to see if I can help get this sorted out for you.

Can you send us an email here. Make sure that in the subject you put WRT135 and that will direct it to our team.

That way we can look into this further for you.

Best wishes,

Heidi

Vodafone signal is pants in CO7 too, but they did offer to take £50 off me for 'sure signal' No I just want a decent already 'paid for' signal please, alhtough having said that, it could be my phone (Desire) as my wifes bog standard Nokia works OK !

If you need to get through to Vodafone's customer service be aware that they're huge fans of outsourcing. If the agent has a Welsh accent the chances are you're speaking to someone from Conduit. The staff there have about 20% of the training of usual Voda staff. Conduit will employ just about anyone so it's worth asking at the start of the call if that's who they work for, if so you're better off hanging up and trying again.

Hi!

The Vodafone tech staff in Eygpt are brilliant with anything such as that. they are the one who you need to speak to.

Haha that's a laugh! They're almost as bad as an Indian callcentre. I spoke to one of Vodafone's Egypt staff about problems I was having when I had an HTC Desire and as well as telling there was no way I could send emails from it, when I mentioned I use a lot of mobile data she told me if I exceeded my 500gig allowance my line would be blocked! Utterly useless.

I've given up on going around in circles with them. I emailed the WRT a while back after talking to them on twitter, just got the same suggestions I got over the phone and the ones I outlined in the original email to them. They were unable to tell me if a retail store could give us a new sim there and then, my mum really cant be without a phone for the time it'd take for a new one to arrive, as I believe hers would become inactive the second I request one over the phone?

Someone I spoke to even had the cheek to ask if I had phone insurance we could claim on to just get a new one, as it'd be easier than going through the proper channels.

Vodafone customer service is almost non-existent these days.

The Vodafone coverage has been down in DA8, Kent for exactly a week now with no update at all. VF CS have given me £40 credit which is all well and good but a total pain. Voda's CS is very hit and miss, there front line can be really good bit there Tech Support people are very very odd.
