I do not own and cannot see the point of owning any clothes which have brand names written all over them.
It's like you're a walking billboard. I did it when I was a kid of course as you really have to fit in at school.

If companies want me to advertise their brand by putting it all over their garments they can pay me. Why should I pay for their advertising?

Hollister seems pretty popular too.
I LOVE Hollister, but I loved it more when I had some but you could only get it in America. Now that there are more and more shops opening it isnt quite so special, but still has a certain appeal.

All my mates have superdry but I don't. Don't see the point in buying a jacket that costs £80 just because it says "superdry".
This! The brand will go back out of fashion soon enough. In the mean time I'm happy with my jackets from New Look, which are comfortable and cheap.

I don't buy any clothes with great big logos on, it looks tacky.

Kind of sums up why the concept of 'cool' repels me.

As my dad says, "I don't see why I should pay to advertise their clothing"

Is it just me who thinks this Superdry clothing looks crap. I wouldn't buy it. Too chavvy for my liking.

A&F only has one store over here, what difference has that made?
Lots of people who didn't really have access to A&F before, now do. That's what happens when stores open, y'know

Is it a label/logo which is actually on the items of clothes? I don't buy any 'label' clothes, as quite beside the fact that words simply look incongruous on clothes, sooner or later it is no longer the 'correct' label to be wearing.

It sounds like some sort of incontinence garment.
Not as much as Hollister does

I've never heard of SuperDry.

I don't understand. How does this superdry thing work? Is it just a special material that dries quickly or like Gortex or like a wicking fabric?

Walk around a busy London street and I'm sure you will see at least 3 or 4 Superdry wearers in 10 minutes. It's almost becoming a uniform now ***boring***

I don't, and wouldn't be caught dead wearing anything with such a ridiculous name. What exactly is it meant to mean, that they don't get wet? Or are they trying to use 'dry' as a word in the same way 'sick' now means good? Or is it just a silly name someone pulled out their backside..
Alright grandad, calm down.

I do not own and cannot see the point of owning any clothes which have brand names written all over them.
Superdry are quite sparse with their branding, normally just a small logo.

I found Hadley Freeman's response about Superdry quite amusing (and spot on)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's noticed this brand seemingly everywhere.

It's true though the more ubiquitous it gets now, the faster it will become unfashionable. All of a sudden no-one will want to be seen dead in 'Superdry'

I have a superdry jumper, it's a v neck with white and red/orangey stripes it goes down to my knees. That's the only thing I have though, but I really like some of their dresses so might own more Superdry stuff soon enough.

]I have the summer riding hood , [url="http://www.superdry.com/gb/womens/knitwear"]http://www.superdry.com/gb/womens/knitwear[/URL

and I love it. I'm tiny so I wear it as a dress with very thick tights.

I was looking for a sweater dress everywhere in town and couldn't find on I like as much as this one so i splurged - it was £75. But it is so warm and cosy I feel it was money well spent.

I did have a bit of a "mum" moment when I told my friend I had bought something from that trendy dear brand that everyone is wearing "it's called superfly"

I have a couple of hoodies, pair of jeans, couple t-shirts and a jacket - they are all awesome!

The hoodies are the most comfortable tops I have ever worn!

The only thing that I found was that their sizing is a little off - all the sizes seem to be one size down from what they are meant to be... but apart from that I cant fault them - styling is spot on and the quality is very good!

I own a purple Superdry hoodie. It's so warm so that's why I bought it. Ridiculous name but it's not as chavvy as those 'Henley's Deluxe TShirts'

I started a thread about this a while back, their mail order stuff comes through the PO that I work in and day after day they get a minimum of 100 packets returned to them with ill fitting clothing in them.
