Hi there, I'm waiting for a call to say whether my olc Thomson DTI 6300 is beyond fixing, the caps were replaced today but the hard drive is not recognised or won't boot up! I'm planning to have freesat fitted later this year to 2 rooms and then get a new ariel fitted to supply a third room with freeview so I'm looking for reccomendations as regards another freeview SD PVR, the latest Thomson box has had bad reviews so any help with this would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Sorry forgot to mention that the freesat PVR will be HD

get a third freesat box with an 'Octo ' Lnb ( 8 feeds instead of 4 or 2 or even 1 )

you should consider a Freeview HD one, however Freesat would be my choice .............. you dont need an aerial then ........................ and even then you may not get a signal

A Freeview PVR in addition to Freesat would give a better spread of channels.
