80's for me is "Live to Tell". I remember hearing it on my sisters vinyl and falling in love with it.
90'S Has to be "Take A Bow". I just love this song full stop. 00's "Don't Tell Me". I was crazy about this song when it first came out. |

80s - "Papa Don't Preach" (although loved so many from this era including unreleased singles such as "Spotlight" and "White Heat")
90s - "Rescue Me" is my favourite track and I also liked Madonna's version of "Another Suitcase in Another Hall" from Evita. 00s - Probably my least favourite decade but I'll go for "Sorry" |

Very hard to pick one! I have to disclaim that this is purely based on how I feel today:
80s - Dress You Up - I love the relentlessly driving beat, so well matched with the vaguely implied but determined sexual threat of her vocal delivery ![]() As someone else said, on another day it would be Borderline - a true 'perfect' pop song in the most meaningful sense of the word. 90s - You'll See - just ballad perfection. 00s - Hung Up - my least 'favourite' Madonna decade (though that doesn't imply 'bad' by any means), and so difficult to choose as most of her singles have been much of a muchness to me. I think what gives this the clincher is having the famous riff from what also happens to be sometimes my favourite ABBA single.

80s- Into The Groove + La Isla Bonita 90s- Vogue + Frozen 00s- Music + 4 MInutes She did some great stuff mid 90s, Secret, I'll Remember,Human Nature etc, but it was caught bewteen Erotica/Sex, the diversion of the Evita movie, and Ray of Light. I would say: 80s 1) Like a Prayer 2) Dress You Up 3) Holiday.....and many, many more. 90s 1) Vogue 2) Deeper and Deeper 3) Bad Girl ...and quite a lot more. 00s 1) Music 2) Hung Up 3) Hollywood ....and one or two others. As other people have said, it was'nt bad, just less anthems-although extremely creative-took quite a few chances in the 00s. |

This is not easy but I have been decisive..... But it could change in a couple of days, weeks or months as there are so many greats with such diversity.....
80's - jimmy jimmy ( the true blue true 50s gem) 90's - frozen (breathtaking hyper ballad) 00's - future love (dance disco at it's best) 10's - revolver ( guetta one love mix) and my fave b sides/ rare/ unreleased - animal and super pop |
